Is this guy Kurz serious? He's upset that the Republicans want to neutralize Obama's "hipness"? Hey, Kurz. I've got a message for you;GROW UP!
What the hell is "hipness" anyway? I'm sure, those who are out of a job, those who've become financially destitute, desperate, whose lives, this country having been turned inside out, upside down, those hunkering down to await the disaster, catastrophe coming our way as a result of this man's policies, I'm sure "hipness", "being hip" is the only thing that's going to save the day.

On second thought, hipness does count for something. On the day of his disastrous 57-state loss in the presidential election, shouting out, “Hip, Hip, Hooray!” will mean a whole hell of a lot to me.

and you can't swing a cat without finding President Obama on a comedy show, said Fox contributor Dana Perino, Bushs last White House press secretary. I have always heard the expression as "You can't swing a dead cat but I suppose he didn't want to offend any cat lovers.
The expression, "Catch a tiger by the toe", has also been politically corrected from the racist version I heard as a kid.

(Romney vs. Obama? One of them has to lose, rejoice in that fact, whichever it is.)

Not where I live.
Obozo is a limp wristed, infeminite, communist homosexual.
Now, how “hip” is he?

So is hipness now a political liability? “
It is when you are a failure like Obama is.

To: lbryce
Wasn’t Jesse Jackson the first one to suggest “neutralizing” him?

I don’t know, I’m still trying to find “infeminite” in the dictionary.

It is when you are a failure like Obama is. Obama isn't a "failure". He's doing a pretty damn good job destroying the country.

Neutralizing him, do you mean like in the way he unknowingly spoke into an open microphone during an interview break on Fox News saying he wanted to cut Obama's nuts off?

Hipness??? If Obama din’t have Big Media in his hip pocket, he would go NO WHERE! Tell the truth about him and he loses everything. Metrosexual embarrassment.

Never mind that presidents and presidential candidates have been doing the late-night thing for two decades . . . So, some sort of "historical precedent" gives it gravitas? It was lame when Clinton did it; it's lame now. The President should behave . . . wait for it . . . presidential.
If we continue on our current glide cycle, President Camacho is really not too far in the future.

I guess I am just culturally illiterate because I resent the “Ghettoization” of the White House.

Howard Kurtz hasn’t know what’s hip since 1988.
Jimmy Fallon hasn’t been hip, ever.
Over the last two decades, it’s hard to believe the depths of failure that Newsweek has dove into on their own free will.

.Comedy shows are a natural venue for a joke of a “president”
