As we mark the anniversary of Osama bin Laden’s death, President Obama deserves credit for making the right choice on taking out Public Enemy No. 1.
But his administration never would have had the opportunity to do the right thing had it not been for some extraordinary work during the George W. Bush administration. Much of that work has been denigrated by Obama as unproductive and contrary to American principles.
He is wrong on both counts.
Shortly after bin Laden met his maker last spring, courtesy of U.S. Special Forces and intelligence, the administration proudly announced that when Obama took office, getting bin Laden was made a top priority. Many of us who served in senior counterterrorism positions in the Bush administration were left muttering: “Gee, why didn’t we think of that?”
The truth is that getting bin Laden was the top counterterrorism objective for U.S. intelligence since well before the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks. This administration built on work painstakingly pursued for many years before Obama was elected — and without this work, Obama administration officials never would have been in a position to authorize the strike on Abbottabad, Pakistan, that resulted in bin Laden’s overdue death.

Obama and his henchmen sure do like talking about how rough and tough Obama is, that he made the gutsy call to take out Bin Laden and all that.
Well, to paraphrase Joe Biden, it was the gutsiest most audacious military operation of the last 500 years. And who made the call? Well Obama made the call, because he’s so rough and tough..............

The author and the title are correct.
President Bush took out Bin Laden. Died in cave, crushed beneath tons of rock.
Obama killed the ‘image’ of Bin Laden, that the Muzzies were trying to ‘project’.
The guy they killed in Pakistan was a relative. Pakistan harbored Bin Laden’s family, but not ole Binny.
That is why the body was unceremonially dumped in the ocean.
What Obama did is authorize the killing of some members of Bin Laden’s family, and claim it was Bin Laden, therefore removing the ‘symbol’ of Bin Laden’s leadership. It was a pawn being moved off the table.
It was a good move, and needed to be done. Obama didn’t want to do it because he was more worried about it disturbing the Muzzies than he was about the safety of our country.
And what brings you to these conclusions about OBL already being under piles of rocks?
Now that the enlightened one has crippled the ability of the CIA guys to do what is necessary will he proudly take the credit for the next attack that the radical muslims are no doubt planning? nope...that was a dumb question

Here is Part I of the video of 9-11 made by the two French brothers. They just happened to be doing a documentary of NYC firefighters, heard a noise, and just barely caught on film the first plane going in. They then filmed the rest of the day. Inside the command center in one of the buildings they are confused by sounds above them. They then realize it is people landing on the roof. :(

And BTW, how do we even know OBL is dead? We have seen absolutely NO proof that has happened with the excuse given “We don’t want to put our troops in harms way by enflaming Muslims”
