No..the chance we had is gone....too late now...Romney will not win.....
As another poster stated.........“Look, a candidate whose own supporters have to start every sentence with,... “Yeah, I hate him too, but...” is doomed..... It’s not rocket science.”
Nor do I. However, if Romney is elected, I would expect that he and his advisers will not shy away from a conservative challenge to his positions. They will just let the press play up the big fight between Romney and the "extremists." Frankly, I think that is what they will want so they can cast Romney as the "reasonable" moderate.
All the good guys will fall in line with endorsements. At this time, I don't think any of the them see a third party as a viable alternative. For better or worse, they have hitched their wagon to the Republican team. We'll see a continuation of these unenthusiastic endorsements of Romney and a lot of busy schedules this fall which just can't squeeze in a campaign appearance with Mitt.
Mitt would put me in a carrier atop his car but he would not eat me!
