"No ghost holsters have been found in the city."

300,000 mostly illegal searches for weapons a year, and they have not found one. No wonder they call it a "ghost" holster.

Criminals almost never use holsters, and many guns have been able to fire through clothing for decades.

I wonder if this has anything to do with the police chief running for mayor, and the heat that he has been taking for all the violations of the constitution.

The obvious solution is for everyone in NYC to go naked.

The only reference I could find on the web for “Ghost Holster” was for a slick IPSC rig. Not very practical, and at $150, I don’t think the homies will be buying many.

The holster is a pouch that, depending on the size of the gun, provides the user enough room to reach in and fire through clothing without removing the firearm.

100% pure, unfiltered bullsh!t.

Can the slide cycle in this "ghost holster"?

I doubt it.

Thank you for one more reason I will never, no never, set foot in the city or state of NY ever again.

No ghost holsters have been found in the city.

We used to call them "pockets".

This is impossible as carrying weapons concealed in NYC is against the law!

OK, that is why it is called concealed carry... WTH. Hey, I’m all for strutting a 50AE now and then too, if that is what they want.

Next they will moan about the “ambiguity” of the gait of people walking as if they have a gun but we are not sure etc...

You can easily fire through any nylon holster. I have 2 that are open on the end so there is no resistance if I have to fire through it. My holster of choice though is a leather Bianchi ISW.

That said, as posted upthread, most criminals don’t use holsters.

Some people call it a pocket.

If guns couldn’t fire through clothes, we would be bullet proof.

If a bullet can’t penetrate clothing, it’s not much use!!!

I think criminals and gang bangers who carry a firearm in such a fashion that they can fire it while concealed a far more likely to shoot themselves then anyone else.

More officers die from donuts than from these holsters.

The Daily News should do a story on killer donuts.

I don’t see how this is a problem, given that handguns are all but illegal in NYC. What would one keep in such a holster? Skittles?
