No, it doesn't.
By this same calculation, any vote for the 2nd-place finisher is the same as a vote for the 3rd-place finisher. Both are also-rans; and also-rans don't amount to much, do they?
Therefore,
#1...ANY vote for Romney -- should he lose -- becomes a wasted vote...
#2...Besides, most states will already be decided one way or the other -- and the grand total of FREEPERS in those given states won't swing the race one or the other...C'mon think before you actually utilize a keyboard!
Therefore, at best, there's really only a few states (PA, etc.) where any poster (like you) can even begin to stretch it re: how the FREEPER vote count in those states could possibly make a difference in the final vote count.

I was a Newt supporter from the beginning but we’re stuck with Romney. None of the good Conservatives, who are “electable” (Jim DeMint, Paul Ryan, Marco Rubio and Sarah Palin, to name a few) didn’t run. So, we have to play the hand we’re dealt. Our boy Newt didn’t carry the mail. He lost!!! I’m glad he’s repented, but, his slimey past and his “not so likeable” personality, finally caught up with him. The only person who has a chance to remove the Marxist Muslim from the White House is Mitt Romney. Not my choice, but I’d vote for a one-eyed, three-legged dog before I’d help Obama stay in the White House one day past January 20, 2013.

The fact that the devolution gets a “little” push from traitors, propagandists, and infiltrators is revealed by Alinsky’s works with which you are so very familiar, and the communist manifesto - feh.
The end result of each and every country’s attempts at establishing a communist utopia has been millions of deaths, pogroms, purges, and a ruling elite who skate around on the backs of the people, who become slaves of the collective. The utopian “classless” society turns into a murderous and oppressive dictatorship with definite classes and different rules and laws for each.
And yet they keep trying. The definition of insanity is trying something over and over trying to get a different result.
