Mitt Romney gave us Mitt Romney by destroying all of the alternative candidates who did not self-destruct first.
And the GOP-E just stood back and let him engage in scorched-earth politics, the bitter fruit of which we are seeing now.
Why? I've said it before and I'll say it again - the GOP-E would rather lose with a RINO than win with a conservative. Who do you think is closer to the values of Beltway-addled Republicans? Sarah Palin? Or Barack Obama?
