They’ll regret that one is they ever have any emergency that cuts off the municipal water supply.

I think all us folks in eastern Massachusetts should make it a point to throw our empty water bottles out while driving through Concord.

The bottled water bylaw passed at this years Town Meeting bans the sale of non-sparkling, unflavored drinking water in single-serving polyethylene terephthalate (PET) bottles of 1 liter (34 ounces) or less in Concord on or after Jan. 1, 2013. Coming next year, the 35 ounce two serving bottle. Share it with a friend - but don't you dare drink it in one shot by yourself.

Everything is super sized nowadays. No reason why water shouldn’t be. Buy a gallon of H2O!
Remember drinking water fountains?
They should bring those back.

Given the idiocy of that state, it appears that they may want to give up the local water and start consuming more of the bottled stuff.

Population of 17,668 at last census, and this got passed with 403 votes.
I have a feeling a whole lot of the silent majority are regretting not voting today...

Look for these Concord phonies to be stocking up on bottled water at supermarkets just over the town line.

Will they allow single serve water in GLASS bottles instead?
I miss Perrier in glass bottles. Doesn’t taste the same.

I can't drink that it is a non-sparkling, unflavored drinking water in single-serving polyethylene terephthalate (PET) bottles of 1 liter (34 ounces) or less. I want cut down on pollution and limit exposure to toxic chemicals to my body.

Will this apply to the concessionaires along Battle Road in Minuteman National Park? Will the rangers ditch PC and assert their Federal authority to avoid tourists dropping from heatstroke?
Will the Coca Cola and Pepsi Cola bottling companies take a second look at their name and go glass? Given the penchant for libs to foul their own nest, will the town be littered with broken glass as an unintended consequence?
Where can I get 35 ounce PET bottles by the caseload? Time to go Thoreau on them!!!

By the rude bridge that arched the flood,
Their flag to Aprils breeze unfurled,
Here once the embattled farmers stood,
And fired the shot heard round the world.
The foe long since in silence slept;
Alike the conqueror silent sleeps;
And Time the ruined bridge has swept
Down the dark stream which seaward creeps.
On this green bank, by this soft stream,
We set to-day a votive stone;
That memory may their deed redeem,
When, like our sires, our sons are gone.
Spirit, that made those spirits dare,
To die, and leave their children free,
Bid Time and Nature gently spare
The shaft we raise to them and thee.
