This yahoo poll needs some freeping. Being a yahoo poll I would have thought Obama would be further ahead.

Oh yes they did! A whole bunch of thumbsuckers have been proclaiming it for months. I pray that it’s all bluff and bluster and that they’ll cowboy-up and take one for the team when the time comes. I AM NOT THRILLED WITH WILLARD. But he’s orders of magnitude better than what we are suffering under NOW!

I'd vote for hillary over obama if those were our only choices. You are going 3rd party? I didn't know Ross Perot was running.

Give it a rest! I don't like Romney but I like obama much much much LESS! Sitting back and letting the absolute worst person who will continue to destroy our country stroll into office without even trying to stop him is insane.

Tuck, I meant on this one and only thread...
No one has said they weren’t voting. You presumed wrongly on this thread to which you and I are posting. This thread. Here.

I don't want to vote for Romney, but what's the choice? Vote for the lesser evil, or by abstaining giving another vote to the greater evil?
I can only hope he picks a running mate that will make him easier for Conservatives to vote for.
Except for prayer and more prayer, I don't have any other answers.

You’re making incorrect presumptions about our doing nothing if we don’t vote for Romney.
Insanity is something to be avoided. Making a stand that you disagree with does not define insanity.

I'd vote for hillary over obama if those were our only choices.
Actually, that'd be a good idealogical team...Team Romney could select Hillary as his running mate...that way, the Repugnants could have the woman who tried to pioneer socialized healthcare in the 90s when Bill assigned her that role...with the one who actually pioneered it...
I mean, almost half of the highly religious voters have already said in an early poll they won't vote for Romney...including 9% who said they wouldn't vote for either...so that means Romney has to increase make-up a lot more ground in the other categories, which he trails Obama...So he has to etch-a-sketch his liberal face once he gets the nomination...What better way to do that than to pick Hill as his VP?
After all, we keep getting lectured by FREEPERs, they'll vote for ANYBODY over Obama...so that would include Hillary, right?

Allowing a rapist into your daughters bedroom is insane. Allowing obama to skate into office for 4 more years (or a lifetime) is also insane.

It has nothing to do with him not being my first choice. He simply was never on the list of choices.
I will certainly not be staying home. There are good conservatives for congress-critter and state legislature that will get my vote.
I firmly believe voting for Romney is voting for the destruction of our nation. Imagine I have handed you two glasses with water. I tell you one is 50% filled with Roundup and the other is 40% filled with Roundup. Are you going to drink from either of the two glasses, just because they have been handed to you?

Sitting back and letting the absolute worst person who will continue to destroy our country stroll into office without even trying to stop him is insane(Yeah, we know...if the next Dem POTUS candidate announced he was THE anti-Christ, you'd vote for a reincarnated Hitler to "stop him")
And thus, you'll train your kids & grandkids, come (say) the 2036 election, to vote for a guy to the left of Obama to "stop" the (d) candidate...who would, of course, be worse (as always).
You political relativists have jello for your backbone...you'll always marry off your daughters to whoever the GoP-establishment tells you to -- like in this case a pro-abort, socialist idolatrous cultist -- 'cause, hey, your daughters could do worse, after all...right?

Argument rejected. You’re intimating (1)Obama will be re-elected unless I vote for Romney, (2)there is some correlation between your first and second sentences, and (3) it’s our (Conservatives) fault if Obama is re-elected.
Imagine Spock speaks here: “IT’S ILLOGICAL, CAPTAIN.”

If I lived in a swing state, I guess I would feel it necessary to vote for Romney. Yep. I live in Florida. I'll be voting to remove the most destructive, America-hating Marxist that has ever sullied the Oval Office.
I have priorities.

You want to vote for a deceitful Socialist fraud just because he wears an “R” label ? Keep it to yourself. Don’t attack others for not wanting to jump off a cliff like a stupid lemming for Willard. Conservatives don’t let other Conservatives vote for Zero OR Willard.

You can sit in your bedroom and suck your thumb on election day and it won't make any difference, but if enough people don't see obama as the enemy to be defeated then he will destroy us. That is reality.

You may reject an argument, but you're not doing it on the basis of logic. If the number of people who would otherwise have voted for the GOP candidate but who choose not to vote for Romney is greater than the margin by which Obama should be reelected, then those people are responsible for Obama's reelection. If the fraction of that number who are conservatives is greater than the margin by which Obama should win reelection, then the conservatives who did not vote against Obama by voting for Romney would, indeed, be responsible for Obama's reelection.
