No electric vehicle has the range to deliver rural mail. Exactly right. In a way I almost hope they try this stupid idea. I will laugh my ass off as I drive by the stranded electric postal vehicles on the backroads of upstate NY on a 20 below zero winter morning. There is no way in hell a battery vehicle will work in the dead of winter on long country ice-covered roads, much less provide heat to the driver.
Idiotic idea.
