That’s about it huh. I just don’t get it. He’s been dead in the water for months. Why now? Why not keep his word and stay in until the Convention. He wasn’t doing anything anyway. This is what he called running for the last couple of months. Why formally change the label?

I just dont get it. Hes been dead in the water for months. Why now? Why not keep his word and stay in until the Convention.The money has dried up. After last night, who is left to donate? It is clear there is no path for Newt to the nomination or some brokered/contested convention. His talk about keeping it close or winning Delaware turned out to be a complete embarrassment since he lost by almost 30 points. Even most die-hards were not going to give anymore to what is obviously a pointless effort. Gingrich is simply out of money and will use the next week to make nice with Willard and hopefully get some help paying down his debt.
