Does anyone know anything about this area. From the map it looks to be close to US 90. I think that people who worked at the now closed Air Material Center at Brookley AFB used to live here in large numbers. Brookley was closed by 1970 so I am curious as to what sort of area this is. From checking real estate listing it appears to be an area of small free standing houses, many look well maintained.

It was a decent neighborhood of nice smaller homes until Holder’s people took it over. I have a friend that has lived there for about 30years and can’t find a buyer. There have been some serious violence there. A man was gunned down with a spray of automatic weapons fire a few years ago about three houses down from my friend.
