The Perfect Storm of Liberalism has arrived.
A professional collapse inside the several departments and agencies of the United States government created by a decades-long erosion of standards. An erosion fed by all manner of deadly liberal obsessions from racial quotas to political correctness to an addiction to lawsuits, the tolerance for a culture of out of control spending, wildly improper personal behavior, and more.
This deadly combination is now surfacing repeatedly in scandals as seemingly different as those engulfing the Secret Service, the GSA, the U.S. military, the Department of Justice, and every other tentacle of the federal government imaginable.
Let's look at it liberal issue by liberal issue and examine how this perfect storm of liberalism is swamping the affected government department or agency in question.
Let's start with:
Racial quotas and the Secret Service: An American Spectator source has fingered the hot-button issue of racial quotas as a serious problem for the Secret Service, an allegation now surfacing (hesitantly to be sure) in no less than the liberal Washington Post.
Did the Secret Service deliberately reduce its hiring standards to insure that minorities were hired and promoted in the name of racial quotas?
Ironically setting up the possibility that the personal security of America's first black president -- himself a decided liberal -- could have been breached with disastrous consequences?
Did this alleged lowering of the agency's standards wind up slowly infecting the agency across-the-board? Thus setting the stage for the explosive sex scandal that has led to the investigation of 12 Secret Service agents. Was the Cartagena scandal actually "fixed" -- "settled" -- until the Miami SAC got wind of what was happening on her turf -- when she blew the scandal wide open?

Keep the quota to 12% just like in the general population.
Did the Secret Service deliberately reduce its hiring standards to insure that minorities were hired and promoted in the name of racial quotas?
In tests for any job whites must score at least 95% as for non whites they only need to score 65%.
Result: Hell Yes
It has absolutely NOTHING to do with me receiving my bills on time, which I usually do.
I don’t work for the Post Office; never have. I do think the Post Office has been reckless in offering benefits as rich as they do. However, I don’t blame individual employees for that.
They get away with that constantly.
If it's "RICH" that'd be a big surprise to me.
And that bad boy looks like a SKINHEAD!
So... what you are saying is that even 'blacks' know that 'white' neighborhoods are better and safer and would rather work there.
Aren't those 'blacks' being racist?
So, let's hear some details first ~
Alzheimer's, but that is speculation on my part.
It is impossible to send a gift in a card to my grand children because of thieves in the PS, something unheard of fifty years ago.
Another route might have nothing but curbside mailboxes so the carrier gets to drive a vehicle and stay out of the weather.
Then there are apartment buildings and office buildings with indoor mail delivery receptacles, air conditioning in summer and heating in winter ~ some carriers prefer those conditions.
My own very black carrier has been on this route for over 20 years. Our biggest ethnic group are Filipinos. There are numerous Koreans and Pakistanis as well as Chinese, Jordanians, and Vietnamese.
He's just about the most senior carrier in Northern Virginia. He's going to retire from this route where everyone respects him. They know this route is difficult ~ all the mail comes from everywhere and everybody has every kind of name on earth. He loves it.
Do you have any tricks that let me send 10 bucks in a gift card with out it being stolen?
However, if you think someone in the system is stealing your mail file a complaint.
I always send checks.
Classically the only postal employee who gets away with stealing FIRST CLASS MAIL is the one who steals only one piece. By the time they get to three pieces the Inspectors will have triangulated the event and will be watching him steal it.
Postal facilities have enclosed soundproof observation galleries throughout ~ something outsiders are not usually aware of. At any moment you could be scratching your crotch and there's an inspector in a nearby breakout door watching through the one-way glass.
Every year there are one to a half dozen carriers get caught dumping mail in a sewer or stuffing it in their basements at home. Very rarely do you hear of a postmaster or official being involved in mail depredation.
If your mailbox is out on the street you are asked to report depredations FIRST to the local police authority. Frequently "they know something".
I’ve been saying for years that we are watching the collapse of the social democrat state, not just in Europe but here in slow motion also. Top heavy pay scales, degradation of standards of all sorts, weak links in education. The propensity of people to dial 911 and just watch instead of helping with whatever the casualty is is a huge indicator of the incompetent boobery running rampant in the population.
Assume you all are on your own. Be prepared to defend yourself, your family, and your property-—in that order. If you aren’t then you are part of the problem.
Yep that works. I know they steal gift cards, cheeks or cash, because they never get there, most of the time the cards get there minus the gift. I have seen videos of the loyal employees you speak of opening the cards.
If I really want something to arrive I have to pony up for insured or special delivery.
I avoid the problem entirely by using FedEx or UPS. There was a time that the iceman or milkman or postman could deliver anything because the doors were unlocked, that is a long gone era.
Semantic BS since first class mail is largely a monopoly. As soon as RATE PAYERS found ways around it they abandoned it in droves.
Guess that's why they still use it hunh?
Did you imagine the folks opening the mail were allowed to get away with it?
