Just what kind of 'thug' would be spending his afterschool hours studying aircraft maintenance?
Trayvon Martin spent his freshman year and much of his sophomore year at Carol City High School. During this time he participated in the Discover Aviation afterschool program at George T.Baker Aviation.

I don’t think the truth lies in demonizing Trayvon because he is like a lot of kids - good and bad.
However, I do think Trayvon might have been busting bad on “whitey’ Zimmerman because he was being watched (what you lookin’ at?) and I think he had been in trouble involving robbery and assault on a bus driver in the period leading to his death. Maybe he got into drugs and/or the wrong crowd. It’s very sad for his mom. I hope he was close to Jesus and is with God in heaven.
And Zimmerman did not deserve to be killed by an angry BIG young man if what Zimmerman says is true. He’s allowed to watch for criminals like everyone else. Terrible situation that would haunt anyone put into it.
I wouldn’t give a tinker’s damn if Martin was on the honor roll and was building airplanes so he could donate the proceeds to charity.
If, as Zimmerman claims, he decided to put an ass whuppin’ on the guy who dissed him by following him and asking an unreasonable question like “what are you doing here?” and continued to administer it by slamming his head in the sidewalk after he broke his nose, then he deserved to get shot.
If Zimmerman attacked Martin and Martin was merely getting the upper hand in the fight when Zimmerman decided to shoot, then he didn’t deserve it.
So far, the physical evidence points to the former, while the witness testimony is predictably split, but tends to favor Zimmerman.
Unless the prosecutor has something major up their sleeve, then it looks like Zimmerman had the book thrown at him for political reasons.
It was the propaganda war of those who tried to demonize Zimmerman and beatify Martin that provoked and justified the response you condemn. It began with the juxtaposition of old angelic photos of Martin against old & doctored demonic photos of Zimmerman, and continued with a media doctored 911 audio to make Zimmerman sound like he told the police that Martin's race was why he was calling 911 and then a police lockup video in which the media deliberately obscured obvious marks on Zimmerman's skull so hey could claim "no sign of injury."
If you want to retain any appearance of honesty, stick to the recent photos and activities of both, and save your propaganda for liberal blog sites and associates.

If you looked hard enough, I’m sure you could find a neighbor or former neighbor of mine who’d describe me as a “fat Charles Manson” or “that guy who didn’t mow his lawn often enough” or some such. Most of Mr. Zimmerman’s neighbors and townsfolk who’ve talked to the press told of his campaign to seek justice for the black homeless man.
