It has become a cliché for politicians who want to provide some sort of pathway to U.S. citizenship to the estimated 11.2 million illegal aliens living in the United States to say that these illegal aliens will need to “go to the back of the line” first.
However, there are already about 150 million adults living in countries around the world who would migrate to the United States if they could, according to a Gallup survey released on Friday.
That does not count any children these 150 million would-be immigrants might want to bring with them to the United States.
To arrive at this figure, Gallup interviewed 452,199 people at least 15 years or older in 151 countries around the world from 2009 and 2011. Gallup asked: “Ideally, if you had the opportunity, would you like to move permanently to another country, or would you prefer to continue living in this country? To which country would you like to move?”
The 150 million people whom Gallup estimated would like to come to the United States includes 22 million Chinese, 15 million Nigerians, 10 million Indians, 8 million Bangladeshis, 7 million Brazilians, 5 million Filipinos, 5 million Japanese, 5 million Mexicans, and 3 million each from Vietnam, Kenya and the United Kingdom.
In Liberia, 37 percent of all adults want to leave their homeland and move permanently to the United States of America. In Sierra Leone, it’s 30 percent. In Dominican Republic, it’s 26 percent. In Haiti, it’s 24 percent. And in Cambodia, it’s 22 percent...

Sorry kids we’re all full up, we’re $16 trillion in debt thanks in large part to handouts and we have an ongoing invasion from the South as well. Better get to work fixing your own problems in your own country and spare us the sob stories about entrenched power structures. No pain no gain.

I propose a trade with all English speaking countries: One immigrant family with a minimum 3 kids for every scumbag american languishing in our jails. The kids should be bright and the Nigerians better not be scam artists.
Throw in a 10 year probation period. No mental patients like Castro did on the Marial boatlift. None of this ‘it’s ok if you can get away with it’ prevelent in the Chinese community. Absolutely no iimgrants from Muslim countries.

Or is it perhaps the generous welfare programs and free medical care that are attractive?

Half of those 150 million probably want to come for the wrong reasons.

Time to close the gate, we have virtually no control over the disease laden illegals coming in now.
So the only practical offset is to reduce “Immigration” to zero.
We will still get millions per year, from all over the world, as all sorts of Visa’s will continue to be abused to “Overstay” permanently.
But we should at least save the expense of paying to bring them here, and when they are detected we have a possibility of deporting them.
Not an ideal answer, but there appears to be no way we can implement the ideal answer.
Even suggesting portions of what really has to be done to control illegal entry turns supposedly conservative folk into liberals wanting exceptions.
For example:
Asset forfeiture. Illegal = ALL assets seized, deportation in a paper suit.
No money, no cars, no home titles, no SS payments.
Children of illegals. Does not matter how long they have been here, or born here, DEPORT with the parents.
Until we stop creating “Anchor Babies” or making exceptions for those who have gotten away with invasion for too long, they will NOT stop coming.
Reentry. Is SUPPOSED to be a felony, but courts let invaders slide time and time again.
They MAY impose some penalty once the invader has killed some one, or been caught at some other major violation.
Reentry has to be CONSISTENTLY punished as a FELONY every time in order to be a deterrent!
Caught once = Deportation and permanent ban, unable to ever enter the U.S. again for ANY reason. NO exceptions.
Prosecute illegal’s voting to the full extent of the law!
Close all “Matricula Consular” (SP?) offices and make it clear that any documents they have issued are considered fake.
Stole ID, SS#, etc., prosecute as felony and deport.
Anything less is selective enforcement and an open invitation to MORE invasion.
Not a complete list, only a start.
Of the 150 million who want to enter the US, how many have anything to contribute, and how many are trying to cash in?
I would have thought the figure was a whole bunch more than that.

Would I be racist if I said I’d take the Japanese, Vietnamese and Brits? And I’d take the Nigerians and Kenyans if they were Christians. But only if we can boot out the illegals already living here.
One problem with many of these people is that they want freedom for themselves but want to elslave the people aroud them, be it their wives, children, and/or employees.
The minute they land, they will immediately try to turn the USA into the turdholes they just fled.
1. A country can chose to have generous social programs, or open immigration. It can't chose to have both.
2. In the absence of borders, immigration (and emigration) will continue until the quality of life in “rich” countries has been reduced to near equality with the poorest.
there are no jobs, no reason to arrive in the US.
