I have no idea whether Condi is conservative. Her foreign policy expertise is unquestionable ... though, apparently, she and Dick Cheney butted heads quite a bit. She’s been largely silent on domestic issues, as a far as I know.
VP polls this early are mostly just name-recognition contests.

Really? I question her foreign policy expertise and believe she was in over her head as Secretary of State, and did a lousy job. Her record on Mexico and Israel was awful and ended in failure. Perhaps she'd make a good Ambassador to Russia, if only Bush had given her that post instead...
>I have no idea whether Condi is conservative.<
.
Did you observe her at the 2002 State of the Union address when Bush declared Islam to be a ROP?
She appeared to have a Chris Matthews moment complete with a tingle up her leg.
She’s bland and boring. AND the worst political piano player since Richard Nixon.
Might I humbly suggest that her foreign policy experience and prescriptions were unquestionably nonsensical. Nothing about her political persona suggests she is anything but a OWG apologist and domestic policy naif.
That said she would probably add considerably to the “electability” of the ticket (more a comment on the imbecility of the electorate), even thought the result would not be helpful to humanity.
Dick Cheney butted heads with everyone, and still does, but I suspect Condi was a bit more pragmatic, while Cheney liked to rattle a few cages.
The gop elite sit around a table and say “We could pick a Meskin, or a colored girl or maybe we could find a Chinaman. How ‘bout an Injun? Is Lighthorse Campbell still alive? Or that other kind of Injun, the governor of Louisianna. Is there a mixed breed conservative muslim woman available? We’ve got to get someone that EVERYONE loves!
IMHO she is not conservative, and doesn’t deserve the slot. She was a mystery as GWB’s SOS, just dropped out of sight, hardly heard anything from her. I’m sure Romney will give her something, but she doesn’t deserve to be VP.
