I don't care about the scandal. I
do care about those who would foolishly try to gain a political advantage out of it. What do people think happens when military and security personnel deploy around the world? They cheat on their spouses, girlfriends, and boyfriends. That's no surprise. Not everyone does it, of course, but I'd be surprised if a certain percentage weren't screwing around. I'm pretty sure most Americans could care less (unless, of course, it affects their marriages or relationships, but that's a different story).
Any politician who wants to turn this into a holy crusade against fornicators and adulterers is only giving the left ammunition. The left loves to paint Republicans as a bunch of backward prudes who want to use government to stop people from having sex. They also like to use these "sex scandals" to draw attention from the larger issues.
