GOP Sen. Chuck Grassley, the ranking member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, is asking the Secret Service whether members of the White House advance team are connected to the Colombian prostitution scandal, considering their close working relationship with federal agents.
Grassley, R-Iowa, sent the letter Friday to agency Director Mark Sullivan and acting Inspector General Charles Edwards. He also asked in the letter if the Secret Service is looking at whether the White House communications office also could be involved.
The scandal involving at least one Secret Service agent allegedly bringing a prostitute to his hotel room in Cartagena, Columbia, was made public April 13.
Grassley is concerned about whether White House officials were in the same hotel and if the prostitutes could have had access to their rooms.

An admin that was OK with secretly exporting THOUSANDS of machine-guns to Mexican drug-dealers with the intent of causing headline-making death on a huge scale:
Would those men ALSO be ok with uh...maybe bedding down Columbian ho’s...?
GOSH I WONDER.....!
I thought the prostitutes were Columbian.
Why be so inquisitive?
It’s only about sex.
I don’t think Grassley would ask a question like that if he didn’t already know the answer.
More of it hitting the fan in the White Hut.
I thought they were Colombian.
Fer pete’s sake, the name of the country is COLOMBIA and the babes were COLOMBIANS (not Columbia with a U, which is a university in New York City).
Aside from that, the strange thing about this story is how the details keep changing. First there were “some” prostitutes hired by “some” SS personnel, then there were 22 prostitutes (one per guy) and now it says “at least one” SS member hired a prostitute?
Also, these people have gone from being the advance detail to being the dog handlers and other low level SS employees to being the people actually assigned to protection detail...to now being WH communications staff?
Curiouser and curiouser.
As I’ve said elsewhere they were just checking out the talent for the entertainment of the White House staff. A kind of vetting. The MSM is keeping a lid on this because they do the same thing.
I know Grassley's considered "RINO" here but I kinda like him.
And I like his tweets...especially his History Channel ones :)
Oh boy, another sternly worded letter from Grassley. That makes about two thousand of them now with absolutely no results. Yawn.
I’m certain that soetoro hates - as he does with anything else that is American - the Secret Service. It cramps his style, whatever that is, and I’m sure we’d cringe even knowing the half of it. If clinton hated them, then you know that this is true.
Oh, and it's Grassley who is largely responsible for not one GOP member voting for Obamacare.
Go, go, go Grassley.
I’d like to know if prostitutes are connected to presidential AIDS...
What is the big deal.
Every document involving national security has
already been transferred to the Moslem Brotherhood
and every other Islamic terror organization by
Obama the Undocumented Tyrant.
This will go nowhere, like every other GOP investigation
Bear...woods
Grassley has a good point. I have served on a dozen Presidential advance teams. There is always someone from the WH advance office heading the team. The lead will usually be a staff member, but occasionally they will bring someone in from the outside depending on demands. It could very well be that the WH lead advance was involved or someone from WHCA in the scandal. If that is the case, hopefully someone from the SS will drop a dime on him.
Precisely. Huff, puff, cry, cave.
Haven't you figured out yet that all Republicans are called "RINO" here? Well, all except a small handful. This is not a Republican website. It's not even truly a conservative website, and hasn't been for years.
