Birds hit vice president's plane while landing

Officials say birds struck Vice President Joe Biden's plane as it was landing Thursday night at Santa Barbara Airport in California. Nobody was injured.

Maj. Michelle Lai of the U.S. Air Force 89th Airlift Wing Public Affairs Office says two to three birds hit the right side of Air Force Two.

The article says it’s not clear what kind of birds. I think they need to do an investigation. Probably they were bald eagles, spotted owls, or some endangered species.

Biden should be ashamed of himself!

OK, wait a minute. Birds fly what— 20 mph? Air Force Two lands at what speed— roughly 150 mph?

The plane hit the birds.
