TMZ is reporting that famed TV producer, and New Years Rockin Eve host Dick Clark has died at the age of 82 from an apparent massive heart attack.
There are few details surrounding his death at this time.
Clark suffered a stroke in 2004, forcing him to retire from hosting New Years Rockin Eve. Ryan Seacrest took over in 2006

If only we could turn back the clock to a better time in America.
New Year won’t be the same without him.
New Year’s Eve won’t be the same without him.
Dick Clark......a part of everyone......RIP Dick Clark, rock on.

When asked, President Obama’s response to Dick Clark’s passing- “My grandfather would have looked like Dick Clark.”
I suddenly feel like an idiot.....
So sad. He is the only reason I could tolerate Seacrest the past few years.
RIP Mr. Clark.
I still can’t figure out who he was even from pictures...
In a previous life, Dick Clark was.....Dick Clark.
With Dick Clark’s passing, so passes part of my teenage years, and pre-teen, as a matter of fact.
Rushing home from school to watch American Bandstand was a must.
Sweet Little Sixteen by Chuck Berry
They’re really rockin Boston
In Pittsburgh, P. A.
Deep in the heart of Texas
And ‘round the Frisco Bay
All over St. Louis
Way down in New Orleans
All the Cats wanna dance with
Sweet Little Sixteen
Sweet Little Sixteen
She’s just got to have
About half a million
Framed autographs
Her wallet’s filled with pictures
She gets ‘em one by one
She gets so excited
Watch her look at her run
Oh mommy mommy
Please may I go
It’s such a sight to see
Somebody steal the show
Oh daddy daddy
I beg of you
Whisper to mommy
It’s all right with you
Cause they’ll be rockin on bandstand
In Philadelphia P.A.
Deep in the heart of Texas
And ‘round the Frisco Bay
All over St. Louis
Way Down in New Orleans
All the Cats wanna dance with
Sweet Little Sixteen
Sweet Little Sixteen
She’s got the grown up blues
Tight dress and lipstick
She’s sportin’ high heal shoes
Oh, but tomorrow morning
She’ll have to chang her trend
And be sweet sixteen
And back in class again
Cause they’ll be rockin on bandstand
In Philadelphia P.A.
Deep in the heart of Texas And ‘round the Frisco Bay
All over St. Louis Way Down in New Orleans
All the Cats wanna dance with
Sweet Little Sixteen
God bless and prayers for his family.
So did I. If you were a teen anywhere in the Philly area you watched Bandstand. RIP, Dick and thanks for all the memories.
RIP Dick Clark.
Many great memories over the years - remember watching American Bandstand after the Saturday morning cartoons were over.
There’ll never be another one like him.
RIP.
