Michelle Obama: 'This President Has Brought Us Out of the Dark and Into the Light'

Michelle Obama made a remarkable claim when talking up her husband, President Barack Obama, at a campaign event earlier today in Nashville, Tennessee.

"I am so in," Michelle Obama said toward the end of her remarks. "I am going to be working so hard. We have an amazing story to tell. This president has brought us out of the dark and into the light."

The crowd of nearly 450 folks applauded as the first lady likened her husband to a Jesus-like figure.

In the book of Matthew, we read, "the people dwelling in darkness have seen a great light; and to them which sat in the region and shadow of death light is sprung up." (Matthew 4:16) The phrase is used to describe the words Jesus preached.

I know that I am going to take some heat for this, but I agree with her!

The anti-American, Socialists used to live in the shadows and hide their true hatred for this country, but Obama has actually brought these thugs and parasites out into the light and have put them on display for America to see!

I think of the light as a reference to God’s gift of salvation from our sins. His light is the truth. Mr. Obama is far from truth. These claims by the first lady are an abomination (imo).

Actually, they are speaking to the dumbed-down, brain-washed of America. The Americans with whom they communicate have only heard the peripheral words of great orators and "key" phrases from the Bible. They were told these were great people who said these things, so when they hear these words and phrases from these two clowns, they have an automated response that it is good! I bet you couldn't find five people in that crowd that could name ONE actual, legal, Constitutional, pro-American things that Obama has done for America! But, DAMN IT they FEEL GOOD when they hear them talk!
