A book by a senior Indian Islamic scholar that recently prompted international outrage for directing Muslim husbands on how to properly beat and control their wives is on sale at the largest Islamic bookstore in the Washington D.C. area, just a twenty minute drive from the White House, all while the Obama campaign proclaims that Republicans are waging a "war on women by promoting pro-life, pro-family policies, and as DCCC media strategist Hilary Rosen continues to attack Ann Romney for her decision to stay at home and raise her five sons.
The book in question is "A Gift For the Muslim Couple by Ashraf Ali Thanvi that directs a Muslim husband "it might be necessary to restrain her [wife] with strength or even threaten her, adding that he may scold his wife, "beat by hand or stick, withhold money from her or "pull (her) by the ears, but should "refrain from beating her excessively.
Thanvis book was recently in the news when the Toronto Sun discovered the book being sold at a prominent Islamic bookstore in Toronto, prompting criticism from all corners of Canadian politics and society. The story was picked up elsewhere by the international press.
So will the Obama administration ask its Muslim "interfaith outreach partners why such a vile volume is being sold across the Potomac River at the Halalco Bookstore and Supermarket in Falls Church, Virginia just eight miles from the White House? I purchased a copy in the family section of Halalco on a trip to DC two weeks ago, and the book can be found available for purchase on the Halalco website.
This isnt Halalcos first dance with controversy, however.
Back in June 2010, my colleague CBN national security and counterterrorism reporter Erick Stakelbeck discovered the bookstore featured a large display of audio CDs and DVDs of Al-Qaeda cleric Anwar al-Awlaki for sale just one day after Awlaki issued a fatwa calling for the killing of American civilians.
Initially, the stores management refused to speak with Stakelbeck, telling him to come back the following day to speak to the owner. When he returned, the Awlaki display had magically vanished. While the owner stated that the Awlaki materials were "a good seller, he couldnt explain why other materials promoting violent jihad, products by other radical Islamic preachers, and even copies of the notorious anti-Jewish tract, "Protocols of the Elders of Zion, were being sold.
So if the Obama campaign and the Democratic Party want to find a real "war on women, they should ask their Muslim outreach partners about products pushing Islams "war with women being sold at the Halalco Bookstore right around the corner from the Dar al-Hijrah mosque and not far from the All Dulles Area Muslim Society (ADAMS) Center, led by Obama Shariah czar Mohamed Majid.
The premise of this article is completely asinine.
The Moose Limb culture stopped evolving in the 7th century. Its who they are and what they are and what they want the world to become, by force if necessary.
Ditto spit!
“...Halalco Bookstore and Supermarket in Falls Church, Virginia...”
Falls Church - cool! That must irritate the rags to no end, or at least, I sincerely hope so.
Stinking 7th century troglodytes.
Mohammed was a pirate, a polygamist, a pedophile, a rapist, a mass murderer, a torturer, a slave trader, a liar, a truce breaker, a thief, a plunderer, a destroyer of civilizations, an unspeakably cruel tyrant, and a bloody genocidal savage.
No surprise that his followers would beat women.
“A Gift For the Muslim Couple”
I’d like to offer a sequel to this wonderful literary work
It would be named “A Gift For the Muslim Cleric”
It would bear a striking resemblance to a fragmentation grenade with a pretty green bow on it.
Attached to the pin, of course.
Filthy mohammedan b@st@rds were left behind by the 8th century, and it’s only gotten worse since then, unsurprisingly.
The book will soon enough become an historical classic in the US at the present rate that Islam is growing.

.
Any other glowing words of praise that you may have for this invaluable asset to our society?
