All else aside, if Romney were to win over Obama, Romney would at least have to posture to set himself up for re-election. Obama doesn't have that restraint if he wins in November.
Romney is bad, but not as bad as Obama, and DEFINITELY not as bad as an Obama second term.
How could anybody possibly say Romney's not as bad as Obama...IMO he is equally so and in certain areas far worse. You think Obama doesn't play by the rules....you've just begun to see that the "Anointed" Romney declared himself the Republican Primary winner which he'll announce this week....without the delegates to support him.
If he'll by pass the good voter of this country...what the heck do you think he'll do with congress or anything else which stands in his way.
The problem is Romneys real political agenda is hidden from view...but I promise people will see it soon enough and it' will be cloaked with the same deceptive mask Romney now wears.
'Fools' follow a Piped Piper....and Romney's baited, bought and hooked those who support him.
No, he wouldn't. As conservatives have proven time and time again, they'll eventually 'come home' if the establishment holds out long enough.
Romney has a governing record that would make any liberal Democrat proud, and even though there's still a race in progress, AND there's a conservative still running, here we sit, debating over the relative merits of giving the liberal Republican our votes.
If that's all the mustard we've got, then the establishment is absolutely right to take us for granted. The center-right base will fall in line behind the masters, and Romney et al will do exactly as they please - with the full and hearty blessings of the Republican dominated Congress.
Romney has violated every known conservative principle while posing as a Republican, and he will go on to do it again. That's precisely why he's the establishment pick.
