I like the way you said it “Least Worst” truer words were never spoken.
And you, like many others, completely fail to see the point I was making.
I noticed you haven’t read anything else I’ve written.
You are not alone brother.
Many tote the same attitude that you do including myself.
Huh? What is the reason for the ping to me? I am not interested in the thread.
What I have always been saying is that the consequences of your actions (or inactions), both short-term and long-term, must be considered together. I still believe that in a race between Romney and Obama, not doing everything you can to defeat Obama results in the most damage to the principles you hold dear.
Thanks!
Romney not conservative? I am shocked, just shocked/s
Obama’s gonna eat Romney’s lunch (if he’s the nominee). Nothing to differentiate them. Their records are almost identical. Romney’s a total fraud and everyone knows it.
"Posterity, you will never know how much it cost the present generation to preserve your freedom. I hope you will make good use of it. If you do not, I shall repent in heaven that ever I took half the pains to preserve it." John Adams
OK! :)
Thanks for reaffirming my opinion about Mittens.
“but we will at least have another election in 2016. if o is re-elected, this will be our last election, if we even get one this time.”
Look IF you feel you must vote for Romeny...do so. However, quit making bogus claims that Obama will topple our Republic that has stood well over 200 years. Ain’t gonna happen friend. And it is irresponsible to put out such nonsense that somehow Mr. Obama will be able to stop elections in 2016. That is letting an unreasonable fear cloud your good sense.
If you think you should vote for Romeny...like I said...do it. It is your choice to make. However, don’t do it out of an irrational fear. Make a sober clear headed decision.
This is MY opinion and NOT fact:
(1) Mr. Obama will be a total lame duck his second term and will be even more checkmated by the few conservative GOP congressmen there are. Plus, his reelection will cause and even bigger swift in the House and Senate towards conservative members in 2014 like in 2010. He is not liked by the majority of the public, and he won’t have a mandate if reelected.
(2) IF Mr. Romney is elected he will go back fully to being the liberal he is. However, because he has an (R) behind his name, he won’t get much opposition by the GOP congress. Ergo, he is more dangerous because nobody will keep him in line. His placement in office will cause the GOP conservative growth in the House and Senate to decline in 2014. Plus, he will because he is the incumbant, we will be stuck with him running for reelection in 2016, which we will lose. Plus, he won’t be branded a liberal/moderate, the press will call him conservative. Thus, he will sully the meaning of “conservative” setting back years of work to get conservatives elected. His winning is actually more potentially harmful than Obama. Plus, he will not pick conservative judges...he will pick a David Souter.
I know you mean well and I will not denigrate your character, but you are just not right in your fears and assumptions.
Great list, Jim.
And the next thing you hear is “Gingrich can’t POSSIBLY catch up!” That’s isn’t the point. Gingrich can deny Romney the 1144 he needs.
While listening to Glen Beck today he kept noting that while you don’t like the choices, at least Mitt is not a communist.
Sitting out is the worst option.
Then you are voting for the communist who will work to destroy America.
ABO. Anybody But Obama
