Ahead of her Fox News special Paying at the Pump, Sarah Palin gave an interview to Breitbart.com. Discussing various aspects of energy policies, Palins final question was about the networks boss Roger Ailes and her response wasnt exactly glowing.
The question was: Governor, many people were disappointed that you decided not to run for president this year, but are still hoping that you might one day run for the White House in the future.
Roger Ailes was recently quoted as saying, Sarah Palin had no chance to be President. What do you make of that?
Interesting, Palin said, before continuing on to say:
I havent heard all of his remarks, but I wonder if he is aware that the same thing was said about me when I ran for city council, mayor, and eventually governor. No doubt many people who are told they cant do something will work that much harder, and they succeed.
Maybe you guys should send him a copy of Steve Bannons The Undefeated. The theme of Steves film isnt about me, but about the idea of not letting others dictate ones path in life and never giving up when youre fighting for something precious like our exceptional nation and our childrens futures. So, would you send a copy of The Undefeated to him?
Youll recall that last year Ailes made some headlines following a New York magazine profile. The piece quoted a Republican source close to Ailes as saying:
Roger is worried about the future of the country. He thinks the election of Obama is a disaster. He thinks Palin is an idiot. He thinks shes stupid. He helped boost her up. People like Sarah Palin havent elevated the conservative movement.
UPDATE: Mediaite reached out to Roger Ailes and he further clarified his remarks from last nights UNC event in context::
He said, When I hired most of the Republican contributors, none of them had any immediate prospects of becoming President I wasnt referring to any of their long-term prospects, including Governor Palin. I hired all of them because they made for good television at the time. Sarah Palin is young and nobody can predict the future.

You Palin supporters have completely left the reservation.
Precision out
Romney-operative leakers dissing Palin helped ensure McCain’s defeat, leaving 2012 wide open for Romney. Sounds like something Obama would do.
And the idiot McCain comes out and endorses him.

IMO and rarely do I step out to disagree with Rush or Levin, she could NOT beat Obama. The American people are not ready to have a woman as commander n chief. MB and Santorum both lack a command presence. They simply don't look like they would be in charge. MB does not look the part because she's an attractive women.

I understand what he was getting at but I still think hes way off. Dukakis was handed one of the largest political defeats in our time. Romney on the other hand will mop the floor with Obama in a general election. Take away the out and out vote fraud and conspiracy to elect Obama by the media and Obama goes down in an absolute landslide.
There are about 80 members of Congress that each have a Sarah Palin doll that they stick pins in every day.
80 Card carrying members of the Communist Party USA that absolutely do NOT want the people to even remotely in any way shape or form start to take Sarah Palin seriously.
80 members of Congress and an untold amount of communism supporters that have targeted Sarah Palin, her family, her town and her life. They declared war against her.
And some people still whine that Sarah quit.
I know .. delusion is a contagion.
I have the exact same glasses!
God I love Sarah Palin!
Yes, that's my quote and call it sexist if you want but If you want to run for president and WIN your chances if you are a women are very small. Sorry to break it to ya but the problem if you support the idea of a female president is not going to be "sexist" men. The problem with getting elected as a women is convincing the WOMEN you are capable of leading the military and protecting their kids. Women inherently know they are not strong leaders and it's not the role in which god made them. That, my friend is the truth.
Don't believe me? Name the great female leaders throughout world history. Hint: everyone names the same few because ALL the rest were men.
It's just god and mother nature at work, not sexism.
As far as who I was supporting in this primary season it would have been Newt or Perry. Plus I'm in Texas so the contest is over by the time I will vote and Romney will have it wrapped up.
Romney will be the nominee and I will support him because Obama must go, NOW.
We cannot afford potentially two more Obama Supreme Court nominations. Four more years of of Chicago thug politics and lastly. We cannot afford to have an unvetted, undocumented, fraud of a man in control of our military and our nuclear arsenal. Obama could get us into a major conflict and put the entire country in peril no matter who controls the congress. We don't know what Obama might do in a second term. Obama must go, NOW.

I must say that Sarah Palin is such a gracious and lovely woman. Following the taping of the PAYING AT THE PUMP Fox News TV program, in which she co-hosted with Eric Bolling, she came out and mingled with members of the studio audience.

The contest is over when Romney gets 1,144 delegates. This is almost certainly going to be the first time in a long time where Texas does count, because Romney won't have 1,144 by then.
True, and unfortunate for very conservative Texas but it's still likely to be mathematically over. I will still likely just vote for Newt but it's really a moot point. The question is who will you vote for in November? If it's Obama and Romney as it most likely will be I will vote for Romney without hesitation. For reasons I've outlined in other posts there is simply nothing to even consider. Obama must go, NOW.
I have most of my Conservative family and friends vowing to NEVER vote for Mitt. We will do write-ins.
I will be very, very happy to see Mitt utterly slaughtered. He is Liberal to his core. If he had one honest bone in his body, he would belong to the party that matches his soul -- the RAT Party.
You're either a cold-hearted misogynist with a mind as narrow as a 2x4, or you're truly ignorant of the facts behind her resignation.
I can't help you if it's the former, and I'm not inclined to help you if it's the latter.
Good job, Bik!
I stopped watching FAUX News a long time ago. Nothing I read about them lately makes me want to tune them back in. SELLOUTS!!!
Are you for real? What makes you think he gives a damn about conservatives - only to USE conservatives to buy off for vote purposes. Conservatives had NO FAITH in him - so he can't disappoint us. The disappointment are the conservatives that bowed to the GOP for political favor and endorsed this POS PRO HOMO baby killing candidate.
He will NOT win - he has nothing to fight barry with, NOTHING!! He is the weakest candidate and chosen ONLY to clear the path for barry's re election. You actually think Missy is going to give up her lifestyle for this POS candidate - when a sneeze could blow him away? There is no 2020 or 2016. Barry's 2nd term finishes USA off.
The 'couch' was more of an offense for the dumb clucks than a PRO HOMO, baby killing big gov't candidate - who cannot on his greatest day - defeat barry. Newt was the ONLY candidate who could - that's why he received so many darts - yet his record was 10 times greater than mitt or any of the candidates.
I know the facts behind her resignation. I also know it DOES NOT matter! You think she's the only Governor that was ever attacked by the left? Scott Walker is under a far greater siege than Palin will ever know about and he is doing what a leader in his position does and what Palin did NOT do.
You are so clouded by your Palin Worship you are delusional. Get a grip. She did not run, is not going to run, and is never going to be president. Put some effort and thought where it can actually make a difference.
He may get the c onservative vote, but even if he wins, he is unlikely to rule as a conservative. In think we have learned that many so called conservative voices are not really so. But if he wins and follows the same domestic path that George Bush did, some will peel away. Were it not for the war, Bush could never have dumpted such programs as NCLB and the medicare drug program on the country.
