Ahead of her Fox News special Paying at the Pump, Sarah Palin gave an interview to Breitbart.com. Discussing various aspects of energy policies, Palins final question was about the networks boss Roger Ailes and her response wasnt exactly glowing.
The question was: Governor, many people were disappointed that you decided not to run for president this year, but are still hoping that you might one day run for the White House in the future.
Roger Ailes was recently quoted as saying, Sarah Palin had no chance to be President. What do you make of that?
Interesting, Palin said, before continuing on to say:
I havent heard all of his remarks, but I wonder if he is aware that the same thing was said about me when I ran for city council, mayor, and eventually governor. No doubt many people who are told they cant do something will work that much harder, and they succeed.
Maybe you guys should send him a copy of Steve Bannons The Undefeated. The theme of Steves film isnt about me, but about the idea of not letting others dictate ones path in life and never giving up when youre fighting for something precious like our exceptional nation and our childrens futures. So, would you send a copy of The Undefeated to him?
Youll recall that last year Ailes made some headlines following a New York magazine profile. The piece quoted a Republican source close to Ailes as saying:
Roger is worried about the future of the country. He thinks the election of Obama is a disaster. He thinks Palin is an idiot. He thinks shes stupid. He helped boost her up. People like Sarah Palin havent elevated the conservative movement.
UPDATE: Mediaite reached out to Roger Ailes and he further clarified his remarks from last nights UNC event in context::
He said, When I hired most of the Republican contributors, none of them had any immediate prospects of becoming President I wasnt referring to any of their long-term prospects, including Governor Palin. I hired all of them because they made for good television at the time. Sarah Palin is young and nobody can predict the future.

Talk about fighting for the people sticking it to the corruptocrats that infest the government!
Go SARAH!
She has also helped the Conservative movement, especially in 2010. Her whole career has been about small, limited government and individual liberty.
She is most certainly electable to the Presidency. She would have won it this year had she gotten in the race.
If she ran 3rd party this fall I would vote for her; but perception is reality in politics, and right now people don’t think she’s Presidential timber.
Romney will be Romney no matter his running mate.
He is still not electable.
She had absolutely no chance because she didn’t take a shot. We can lament that all we want, but she had an opportunity and chose not to put her hat into the ring.
We had excellent candidates who did, who didn’t garner enough support. If Conservatives want a conservative to enter the nomination then they are going to have to actually support conservatives that do run instead of hoping for their preferred candidate.
If she were stupid, she would have run for President, a favorite pastime of stupid people. For examples, see Barak Hussein Obama, Joe Lieberman, Al Gore, John McCain, John Kerry, Mitt Romney, Lyndon Larouche, David Duke, Jesse Jackson, Ron Paul...
Beautiful!
I forgot the quotes >.< .. will redo..
Better still: merge three departments, Energy, Interior and EPA into one smaller unit and put Sarah as head of it.
Just a public thanks - I knew Romney was bad, but pretty much ignored him, since I just don’t like the guy.
Fabulous!
Ailes is for Romney. Nuff said.
