I imagine it would only take a few Cobra gunships firing HEP rounds to convince anyone with a firearm to put it down and run away as fast as they can.

Have you forgotten? God pawns anything with mere thought. He doesn’t always solve problems instantly, and Job is a good example of that, but he won’t let belief in him be totally destroyed, and should his anger and injustice against him or those that valiantly believe in him be strongly kindled enough, he will be just, and possibly, like St. Paul, give people the good message to just change sides and quit being an annoyance to him. I won’t say that I will, but my allegiance is to the Constitution as pertaining especially to the Bill of Rights, and I pray that I don’t have to see the day where my government puts me on the spot to choose between going against the Constitution as it was written, or even choose between God’s laws and the laws of the land, but if the choice is made, I have the decision, and I emphasize the decision, to choose God, and face the consequences, whatever they may be.
If you don’t believe in him, that’s fine, that’s your conscience. If you do, A second thought as to what God can do might not be such a bad idea. If you believe in him, Remember that he loves you, and just about every human being on the planet. No he also won’t let any government or any other power determine where you belong in the life afterwards, and he can intervene, he won’t let freedoms or the good in this world ever be totally wiped out.
