It is simply horrible to have to drag these families through this again. Shame on the attorneys who are bringing the appeal in an attempt to put the murdering animals back on the street.

“Shame on the attorneys who are bringing the appeal in an attempt to put the murdering animals back on the street.”

I’m sorry but you have things backwards.

This appeal was brought by the State in an effort to AVOID a re-trial. Re-trials have been ordered because the presiding Judge was recently revealed to have been a drug addict who was often impaired on the bench and who associated with many criminal types in pursuit of his drug addiction.

These are the most high-profile convictions to be impacted but there are many, many others.

The blame for this goes to Judge Baumgartner and others in the Tenn. Justice System who covered up for him.

I’m pretty sure these verdicts won’t change on a re-trial, but it is disgusting the poor families will have to re-live this.
