We will not waste our limited resources on FR in support for a liberal progressive LIAR

A reminder for those who are not receiving the message:

Romney is a pathological compulsive liar. Lie after lie papered over with more lies. Doesn’t even flinch when caught in bald faced lies, simply tells another big whopper to cover up or dodge the issue. Funny thing, the man actually seems to believe his own latest lies and simply ignores the glaring record of his past actions/lies. And you have true blue establishment elite RINO Republicans like Karl Rove enabling and backing up his lies. Their motivation is simply to hang on to power (and riches) any way they can.

I’ve stated many times since Romney started running for the presidency way back when that I’d never vote for him and I will not. He cannot lie his way out of his decades long record of support for abortion, Roe v Wade, planned parenthood, gay rights, gun control, global warming, amnesty, liberal judges, big government, compulsory or socialized health care (RomneyCommieCare), mandates, Keynesian economics, support and approval of TARP, bailouts, stimulus packages, i.e, every damn liberal progressive issue that comes down the pike.

C’mon. These are the reasons the tea party sprang up and the reasons he and Rove loathe the tea party and our tea party conservative candidates. Romney famously expressed his loathing for Reagan-Bush conservatism several years ago when he was trying to run to the left of Ted Kennedy and now he’s cloaking himself in Reagan conservatism, knowing full well that it’s a lie, but he knows it’s the only way he can possibly win, er buy the Republican nomination.

Screw Romney!! I absolutely will not support or vote for a proven compulsive liar with a known record of abortion and big government socialism, liberal appointments, etc. He still lies about RomneyCommieCare today. Calls it a “conservative solution.” Get real!!

Listen to what Ronald Reagan had to say about the elites pushing socialism on America via compulsory health insurance:

Ronald Reagan speaks out against RomneyCommieCare

There will be no campaign for this Massachusetts liberal liar on FR!!

Damn the libs and RINOS, full steam ahead!!

But no matter what happens we must turn out in November to vote IN as many conservatives and vote OUT as many rats as possible at all levels of government. If we don't have a conservative at the top of the ticket we must turn out anyway and vote straight conservative DOWN ticket!! Just think of it an off cycle election and pour on the TEA!! It'll be doubly important that we control both houses of congress and as many statehouses as possible.

Restore the 10th amendment!! Impeach the leftist president whoever he may be!! Restore Liberty!! Rebellion comes from the bottom up!!

WOO HOO!! I CAN SEE NOVEMBER FROM MY HOUSE!!

No Bama!! No Romney!! Go tea party rebellion!!

I agree with your sentiments. The man has no real core.

BUT - we musn’t allow Obama to get reelected!

Romney is the lesser of two evils, which about the kindest thing i can say about him.

I would vastly prefer Newt, but it ain’t going to happen.

I agree with you that Romney is like a McCain II, severely compromised, and the selection of the Republican elites. But he is still better than Obama. Obama is a clear and present danger to the nation. Romney is a clear and present danger to conservatism, but he would stabilize the nation. If he is the nominee, then with sadness he will get my vote.

Understood and totally agree.

I have one question - I post things from the UK news organisations from time to time about the various candidates. Is it permissable to post an article about Romney, if it shows how he is viewed here in the UK?

If you say no, it is no. This is your house, I am a guest. I am gonna hold on no until you tell me otherwise.

As much as I dislike Romney you would have to be insane not to vote for him if he is the nominee

Einstein was a pretty smart fellow, and his definition of insanity was accurate: "Doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result."

Add to that the insanity of voting for candidates for public office whose records stand foursquare against everything you believe in, well, our host is looking quite sane to me.

As opposed to Romney Republicans who fancy themselves "conservatives."

I am so pissed that this liberal skunk Romney bought his possible nomination. America is in the toilet and the Americans have nothing more to blame then themselves. The only chance we has was with Newt.

Because it isn’t just about this election. If Romney is elected of course the left will attack him as they did W. What should conservatives do? Sit back and let him continue socialized medicine? Destroy the second amendment? Endorse the ridiculous concept of same sex mariage?

Of course not!

Conservatives will be just as vocal as the left in attacking Romney. That causes a problem for 2014 and 2016. Most likely those elections will overwhelmingly go socialist.

That is of course unless we shut up, bend over, grab our ankles and allow the GOPE to have it’s way with us and The Republic!

NO VOTE HERE FOR ROMNEY!

I’m no fan of mitt’s ether, but you need to get over it and put your country first.

Suck it up and vote for the guy who's probably to the left of Obama and actually works for a living. Because a Republican house will always stand up to a liberal Republican in the White House, and a Democrat senate will not confirm liberal activist judges from a Republican.

Do you see the flaw in your plan there? With Romney, there is no method to slow him down, plus he gets to pretty much hand pick the state leaders for the GOP, most of whom will be his chief fundraisers, which means any TEA party candidate can kiss goodbye support...again.

If the Republican party wants my vote, they can nominate a conservative. Their choice.

Jim, you’re my hero and have been for years. My wife says I’m somewhat to the right of Ghengis Khan in my politics and I am but do we want to insure 4 more years of the worst President in history to prove a point?

Isn’t that close to being the perfect example of cutting off your nose to spite your face?

I had that same ‘dirty’ feeling after voting for Dole in 1996. I swore never again. I stuck to that in 2000 and 2008. In 2004, I went against my instincts and voted for Bush. And then he handed us Obama.

NEVER AGAIN! If we can’t do better than Romney, then we don’t deserve to continue on as a nation.

Bring on any real article about Mitt Romney.

Bring them on.

MITT ROMNEY - THE PROVEN BAD GOVERNOR

"As U.S. real output grew 13 percent between 2002 and 2006, Massachusetts trailed at 9 percent.
* Manufacturing employment fell 7 percent nationwide those years, but sank 14 percent under Romney, placing Massachusetts 48th among the states.
* Between fall 2003 and autumn 2006, U.S. job growth averaged 5.4 percent, nearly three times Massachusetts' anemic 1.9 percent pace.
* While 8 million Americans over age 16 found work between 2002 and 2006, the number of employed Massachusetts residents actually declined by 8,500 during those years.
"Massachusetts was the only state to have failed to post any gain in its pool of employed residents," professors Sum and McLaughlin concluded.
In an April 2003 meeting with the Massachusetts congressional delegation in Washington, Romney failed to endorse President Bush's $726 billion tax-cut proposal."

I have to admit that I’m still very much on the fence about whether I vote for Mittens or not if he gets the nod (I’m still voting for Newt in the NC primary next month), but your point about the other races is well taken. Whether we will support Romney or not on an individual level, it is VITAL that we get out there and push Congress and our local governments as far to the right as possible. We can’t let Romney’s presence as the nominee keep conservatives from the polls, even if we can’t support Flipper at the top of the ballot!

If Obama was a typical liberal, I wouldn’t be as concerned about leaving him in there for four more years. But the man has proven that he simply refuses to be constrained by the Constitutional separation of powers, to an extent that makes Bill Clinton look like a Tenth Amendment advocate. That’s the only thing that gives me pause about leaving the top of the ballot blank. I don’t know that even if we had a Republican House AND Senate in place, they’d have the guts to stop His Imperial Majesty The Won from going on his merry way by fiat.

Whether Obama or Romney wins, we have to push every other level of government that we can—Federal legislative, judicial, state, local, all of it—as far to the right as possible. It’s the only shot we’ve got right now. Then we pray, and we prepare, and we remember what the Republicans did to us with Romney in 2012...and we don’t let it happen again in 2016, even if Romney wins.

All well and good and most here agree, but people need to be able to focus on what they can do, not the corner they seem to be placed in.

What we can do:

1. Identify as many competitive house and senate races as possible and focus hard on those.

2. Take the message outside these ‘walls’. We can blame the establishment all we want, but it was millions of people voting to get us in this position.

3. Become as self-sufficient as possible. Do not be indebted to anyone. That is what makes one dependent and thus, more impacted by liberal policy.

4. Support PACs and causes who stand for what you believe in.

5. Did I already say get the message out? Bears repeating. Don’t preach to the choir, go outside your comfort zone.

6. Form a personal plan of action. What is your personal issue? How will you support it?

...We can’t vote for Romney but it doesn’t mean we are doomed. There are still hundreds of millions of people in this country and changing even a small percent of that to move right can have a big impact.

For those idiots who say they will still vote for Romney.

If you are conservative and a Tea Party he does NOT want your vote! And if he gets it he will say you are a moderate after he wins. The media will also say you are a moderate. Moderates will get the credit and the Tea Party will be considered DEAD. Romney wants nothing to do with you. When he says he will protect gun rights his definition of gun rights is about the same as Clinton's or Joe Biden's not the way we see gun rights.

The man ran to the left of Ted Kennedy on abortion, gay rights, racial quotas. He says what you want to hear but governs like Mayor Bloomberg.

Ineligible RINO Backstabber:
"Thank me. Whenever I cheat, I win."
Whenever I lose, my devoted servile Anchor Wife Wallace
makes even that a ‘win’.

FLASHBACK:

The McCain/Palin ticket was up ++4 to 10 pts
in some polls, days prior to Election 2008.
So rather than helping the GOP, Romney and
TeamROMNEY and the RNME (Republican National Media Establishment)
decided …to attack Gov. Palin to throw Election2008.

Romney, and the Van der Sloot RNME RINOs for Obama in 2008

Late in October, The American Spectator's The Prowler revealed:
"Former Mitt Romney presidential campaign staffers…
have been involved in spreading anti-Palin spin to reporters, seeking to diminish her standing after the election.
'Sarah Palin is a lightweight, she won't be the first, not even the third, person people will think of when it comes to 2012,'
says one former Romney aide…
'The only serious candidate ready to challenge to lead the Republican Party is Mitt Romney.
"Some former Romney aides were behind the recent leaks to media, including CNN, that Governor Sarah Palin was a 'diva' and was going off message intentionally."

The Palmetto Scoop reported: "One of the first stories to hit the national airwaves was
the claim of a major internal strife between close McCain aides and the folks handling his running mate Sarah Palin."
"I’m told by very good sources that this was indeed the case and that a rift had developed, but it was between Palin’s people and the staffers brought on from the failed presidential campaign of former Gov. Mitt Romney, not McCain aides."
"The sources said nearly 80 percent of Romney’s former staff was absorbed by McCain and these individuals were responsible for what amounts to a premeditated, last-minute sabotage of Palin."
… aides loyal to Romney inside the McCain campaign, said The Scoop, reportedly saw
that Palin would be a serious contender for the Republican nomination in 2012 or 2016, which made her a threat to another presidential quest by Romney.

"These staffers are now out trying to finish her off ….hoping it would ingratiate themselves with Mitt Romney."

"Who's the Palin Leaker from the McCain Campaign?
National Review Online The publication of a Vanity Fair profile of Sarah Palin
appears to have opened old wounds in the McCain campaign.
... the source of the “Diva” leak was Nicolle Wallace’s husband."

JJ, seeing your post reminded me to say “thank you” for the great analysis you have done regarding the remaining delegate count.

Newt can win three more primaries and be forced to be recognized on the convention floor.

I believe Jim and FR can light a fire in the Republican Party and give Romney hell until August.

The GOP is screwing us and the country again.

Not on my watch. And I am a registered Republican.
