You are inspiring RitaOK (like Newt). I've found that snail mail is important. Write from the heart and let them know they aren't fooling conservatives. It's simple and to the point. Let the RNC know you aren't contributing and that their calls and mail solicitation is insulting and infuriating. Send your money ONLY to individual campaigns. I'm sure many are already doing these things.
People need to write to their own reps and senators because they will fear their own voters; if you have time, write to as many as possible telling them you will be using the power of your purse to prevent (or support) their re-election. They KNOW a written letter takes time and represents the feelings of many, many others. Become involved locally; be the positive, fearless face of conservatism to your children and grandchildren.
Send Newt some money (no matter how small) to stay in the fight.
