If just stands to reason that there cannot be men who are more just, forgiving, merciful, or wise than God. If man, in his finest state, would not throw good people into a lake of fire, then it stands to reason that neither would a just, forgiving, merciful, and wise God.

It boils down to this: Any “god” that would condemn “non-Christians” to eternal hell fire must be considered “mad” and unworthy of worship. This is not a new idea or one that I came up with on my own. I certainly don’t have any negative feeling toward those who disagree nor do I claim that my beliefs are “true” and that others are not.

The last point is that I would base my vote on a candidate’s belief in the principles of freedom, not on their beliefs about Jesus or hellfire or whatever.

Your God is pretty tiny to hide behind a man.
Your standards of character are as incomplete as your idols.

My job is to open doors. I can’t make you walk through them.

And that is a worthy goal.

But, as you seem to know; there are those of us that think past this world into the next, and are DEFINITELY more worried about a person's ETERNAL destiny than whether they will live in relative freedom while breathing.

I think one thing we can agree on is that BOTH sets of ideas cannot be true.

Compartive RELIGION 101

Does the JEWISH 'god' condemn folks?

Does the MUSLIM 'god' condemn folks?

Does the HINDU 'gods' condemn folks?

Are there ANY 'gods' out there that do NOT zap folks for one reason or another?

I know...

It boils down to this:

"Did GOD really say..."
