Does THIS not wake some of us up? Obama isn't interested in having an army that can completely kick the enemy's ass. He wants an army that celebrates homosexuality, that asks for permission before shooting, and that runs on solar and wind energy.

Please, for the sake of letting the military do its job--kill people and break things--work to fire him in November.

The military uses 90 percent of the energy consumed by the federal government, which accounts for about 2 percent of all U.S. energy consumption. Energy independence in light of unstable power grids and shrinking generation capacity is a good thing.

Producing more energy on military bases will serve their national security mission by making them less dependent on the commercial power grid, officials said. They planned to announce a goal of generating 3 gigawatts of electricity — enough to power 750,000 homes — from renewable sources such as solar and wind on Army, Navy and Air Force bases.
