Justice Department ignores black-on-white crime
What is it about the Justice Department and the Black Panthers? On March 24, Mikhail Muhammad, leader of the New Black Panther Party, offered a $10,000 bounty for the capture of George Zimmerman, who shot and killed Trayvon Martin. The Panthers distributed wanted posters, calling him a child killer and offering the bounty dead or alive. Muhammad warned that Mr. Zimmerman should be fearful for his life.
These acts were almost certainly criminal. Florida Code 787.01 makes it a felony to threaten someone or abduct them with the intent to terrorize. Florida Code 777.04 further criminalizes solicitation which commands, encourages, hires or requests another person to engage in criminal activity such as kidnapping. Solicitation to kidnap is also a federal crime, and the fact that this was unambiguously racially-based brings it within the purview of federal hate-crime laws.
There is an important moral dimension at play as well. This scandal offers an opportunity for the Obama administration to show it can act impartially and calm racial tensions. So far, the White House has failed to lead on the issue. President Obamas high-profile public statement - If I had a son, hed look like Trayvon - was bizarre and seemed to show undue bias. Taking swift action against those who seek to incite racial violence would demonstrate that the federal government enforces the law without prejudice.

New Black Pampers == New Black KKK
A BTT. Holder’s silence in the affair after the ‘09 Black Panther debacle is damning. Every day he allows it to continue, he sends the message that racial intimidation is tolerated. And that is precisely the message he intends to send.
The NLPC Editorial Board is incorrect when they claim Obama isn’t leading. He is indeed leading.
However, the elephant is Holder. Speaking to him like a rational person will do no good.
Holder, Obama, Hoodies, Muslim Brotherhood, Farrakahn, Write, they are all the same people with the same agenda.
They are all the same. Talking to them will accomplish nothing. They are Holder's peeps man. Dees is my peoples. He said so himself.
They are built on a foundation of Hate and Destruction. That is what they are all about. Speaking to them logically, is a waste of time.
The statutes cited are Florida statutes.
Why does the Florida DOJ (or whatever they call it) not pursue this issue?
jaz, it is beyond my comprehension how this bounty is allowed to stand. The NBPs are offering money for his dead (or alive) body. Isn’t this solicitation of murder for hire?
If Florida laws have been broken, why hasn’t FL law enforcement issued arrest warrants?
Once again, if Holder will not enforce the laws, the states can & should.

I messed up, this editorial is from The Washington Times, not the NLPC. You are correct though, Zer0 is leading.
Thank You, AM!
Holder’s asinine racism goes way beyond the NBP’s.
Yes, FL should go after them on state statutes and the feds should go after them on their’s.
I heard on CNN that Zimmerman’s attorneys have lost contact with him. Does this mean he (Zimmerman) might be in harms way?????
I read some articles that said the Black Panthers pulled the wanted posters after a few days but they should still be nailed. There’s also been video’s of NBPP members calling for war with whites and killing for justice.
Neither Holder or the state of FL have gone after them that I’ve seen and they should.
I don’t know. I read that his attorneys withdrew from his case because they haven’t heard from him.
Were just concerned that nobody knows where he is at. Nobody knows how to get to him, Crump said.

The longer this lawlessness is allowed to stand, the more emboldened they will become.
The same reason Mississippi or Alabama didn’t go after the Citizen’s Councils or Klan in the 1950’s, Florida is scared of what would happen. It’s long past time something should have been done. The die is cast.
