Foster Friess, the retired investor who spent nearly $1.7 million boosting Rick Santorums presidential run, is ready to help Mitt Romney.
Im obviously going to be of help in whatever way I can, Friess told POLITICO Tuesday afternoon, hours after Santorum suspended his campaign for the GOP presidential nomination, cementing Romneys status as the partys presumptive nominee. Friess, who was in Washington to accept an award from the Horatio Alger Association, said he had yet to discuss his planned shift in allegiance with Romneys campaign campaign or the Washington-based super PAC supporting it.

The name Foster Friess makes me think of ice cream. I used to live in California.
The irony.
>> Good ole Mark Levin already got behind Romney on his show tonight. I am Disappoint.
But are you surprised?
We had a chance to advance Newt, but most everyone decided to get stuck on stupid. Yup... stupid.
Some days... it seems like all of my heroes have died.
Agreed. Sickening to watch.
Why? Romney spent his time destroying your candidate. Gingrich didn’t.
Yes, I am surprised. I guess I am the one that is stupid. I was tricked by the Philadelphia Lawyer into thinking he is a conservative.
Do you think the evangelicals will be able to repent of their error of their ways, and put forth their organization to do good works, to stop the evildoer now?
“Some days... it seems like all of my heroes have died.”
The guy wrote some real interesting books, but he has some hangups. And he is stuck in the eighties.
What’s the name of the Santorum SuperPAC?
I am Dissapoint, too. He couldn't even wait for the dust to clear, or for the first polls to come out without Santorum. I was really upset by the way he did it, and surprised.
"He led us to victory before. Spectacular, historic victory. The strategy and content of his 1994 Contract with America propelled the Republicans in 1994 to win control of the House of Representatives for the first time in 40 years. Even the Reagan Revolution in the 1980s failed to achieve that.
Moreover, once in power, Gingrich delivered on his promises, and maintained a solid conservative record. He carried out the Contract with America in full, holding a vote on every item as promised, most of which did pass. His record was unswervingly pro-life, pro-gun and Second Amendment, and anti-tax.
Newt's the only one with the experience, and the courage to guide America through these troubling times.
And Mark Levin wants you to vote for Mitt Romney.
What do you expect? Romney is a lock on the nomination now.
Mark Levin is recognizing reality as much as anything else.
Santorum made my choice easier, I guess I am voting for newt in May, if Newt doesnt drop out before my primary. not that it will matter, typical protest vote ... the primary is always over before Texas gets to vote.
Behind the scenes deal? damn fast endorsement!
Don’t know.
A fool and his money will go separate ways, Obama has just lined up his submarine, has Romney in the periscope and is about to launch his first spread of torpedoes.
All Romney has to do is start using phrases like “the breakdown of the family”, and he’s guaranteed 80% of Santorum supporters.
