Have they announced when he will be on Hannity?
This guy is an idiot, and going to hand the lynch mob a win. He should stay with his attorneys, and keep his mouth shut.
Zimmerman’s probably just afraid & confused.
Maybe this is a ploy to get him to call his attornies.
Yes, a bit of both I suppose.
Just to clarify, these two ARE his attorneys, right? Not just a pair of lawyers who say that they’re representing him, for free, of course, without actually talking to him first and getting his agreement?
Myself, on such a high profile case, if *I* knew where he was and I was representing him, I’d have sent someone over, even if it’s the local PD, to encourage him to pick up the phone and call.
Why should an American citizen who has done nothing wrong and has not been charged with a crime stay in touch with attorneys?
This is odd. they haven’t heard from him in 48 hours and they quit the case? Something else is up with this. Not sure what, but that just doesn’t make sense.
Maybe they are getting death threats and are looking for an excuse to drop the case.
Zimmerman probably got smart and realized his lawyers were about to sell him out...
Zimmerman is going rogue.
I imagine his attorneys were advising him to lay low because the investigating authorities asked him to.
If I were his attorney, I would have Zimmerman give a statement by phone or on camera from a secret location in which he says that Trayvon Martin was trying to kill him.
If I were in George Zimmerman’s shoes, I would be pleading my innocence from the rooftops. That’s just me.
When you have possible charges (serious charges at that) pending, and when you have people putting a bounty on your head, and broadcast networks slandering you, you better have attorneys.
Didn’t the attorneys say that Zimmerman had spoken to the prosecutors without them? I could have sworn they said that because I thought how dang stupid can you get.
BUT, *if* he did speak to prosecuters and found out he will not be charged, wouldn’t he then be free to leave the country?
If so, I would want the account and website only connected to me and not anyone else who could be hurt by it or give up information.
Maybe they allowed him a head-start out of the country before they announce no charges? Far fetched?
My guess is the media appearance is the reason. Lawyers hate that kind of thing, for good reason.
At some point, sure. But in the middle of the firestorm, knowing that there are dozens of attorneys who would jump at the chance to represent should there be charges, and plenty of time to sue the broadcast networks, why do we expect an American citizen who did nothing wrong to do anything other than go about his life as a free person?
“Please speak with my attorney!
This only a guess on my part - I have no proof whatsoever.
I have a feeling the Latino faction my have finally had enough of this bashing and decided to take up his cause. If he shows up with new lawyers, and their backgrounds include Latino civil rights issues, then we’ll know the plan.
If so, the first order of business would be to get rid of the existing lawyers, and then begin fighting the case in the public media. And that is what appears to be happening.
The reference to Hannity has been removed from the story.
The article states with certainty that the attorneys were representing him, therefore I must accept that statement as fact.
The guy has a bounty on his head from the NBPP, as well the MSM, Leftist/Democrat, and black society in general are stirred up as a nest of Hornets demanding his sentence be carried out before he is even gone to trial.
I’m of the belief his best bet is to lay low, and stay close with his attorneys as the legal aspects of this swell, and contract hourly.
It isn’t amateur hour. He needs the professionals on his side all the way to the end of this if ever there is.
Uhrig was the one who refered to Zimmerman and Shaken Baby Syndrome.
That did not go over well.
So... Bye. I’m thinking Z wlll
1. either not need a defense team at all (No charges) or
2. have such a strong defense fund that he will go with a superstar defense team.
