I voted for Rick in the Colorado Caucus.

Can’t wait to see the groundswell of financial support from Freepers, for the Gingrich campaign.....

So out of a whole list of folks running for the GOP nomination, we got the worst of the worst, Mitt Romney. Herman Cain was very good and my top pick, he was shutdown with useless sex allegations. Then there was Ron Paul, Gingrich and Snatorum. I like Ron Paul and he got ignored, Gingrich even though there are a lot of things I don’t like about him was the next pick then Santorum.

So it is Milk & Cookies boy, Romney, could the GOP done much better than him ? And a lingering question, Romney won in the democrat leaning states. I wonder how many democrats crossed over

Thanks to Santorum for dragging a good part of the field over to the social side of conservatism and putting up a great fight.

TO all those here who showed up on every Santorum thread throwing around sophomoric insults because Rick wasn't their guy, kiss my *ss.

With the race down to Willard and Newt the best move is for Rick to call on Sarah and Perry, perhaps another to coalesce into a campaign for Newt. With the various factions of the conservatives and republicans coming together they can thwart the undercurrent of the go-pees presumption of Willard is the winner.

Picture Newt, Santorum, Palin and Perry together on a campaign stage beating up on Hussein Obama.

Willard’s mealy mouth approach will wither and fade behind the roar of the cheering crowds.

Malkin hates Newt so much she just cant’ stop attacking him, even after her guy is out of the race. She mentions Newt’s “green flirtations,” but what about Rick’s big spending, big government ways, Michelle?

"Mr. Gingrich immediately made an appeal for Mr. Santorum’s supporters, asking them to join his struggling bid."

Yup, there's no stopping Newt from winning the nomination now. (That's if you assume 300-350% of Santorum voters switch to Newt).

And in other news, 67 years ago this month, with Soviet troops closing to within a few miles of his bunker, another political leader was overjoyed to realize that the fortunes of war had suddenly reversed and victory was guaranteed when the international radio news reported FDR's death.

Santorum’s slogan and program, as I read them, was “Bad Things Are Wrong!”, that’s all, nothing more.

Rick is not going to be the VP nominee, which in some measure seems to have been his plan.

Since that’s not going to happen, Santorum should right now throw his organization, people and votes 100% and without any ambiguity behind Gingrich in a public, out in the open effort to drive a brokered convention.

It’s a valid result, and if the two of them work together, making it a stated goal - voters could understand and rally behind it. It’s a very Tea Party sort of idea.
