Mike Wallace, a pioneer of American broadcasting who confronted leaders and liars for the newsmagazine 60 Minutes for four decades, has died, CBS News said. He was 94.
His death was announced on CBS by the anchor of its Sunday morning program, Charles Osgood. The network did not immediately specify when or where he died. Mr. Wallace had been ill for several years.

If you saw that American Soldiers were walking into an ambush, would you warn them, Mr. Wallace? No.
Says it all for me, some things are unforgivable and that's one, a big one.

That depends on who you identify as the enemy. Wallace gave an honest pressitute answer.
I can think of a few politicians I would not warn, but not one Soldier or Marine.

My sentiment towards him has nothing to do
with whatever religion he claimed to be.

I can’t think of one good thing to say about him other than his demolishing Margaret Sanger in an interview over 50 years ago.
May God comfort his family.

Well I imagine ole Mike’s trying to splain it to God today.

“and he was Hispanic”
Was he the good Hispanic or the White Hispanic...???
Otherwise, everyone here knows that the group known as “Hispanic” is a made up. Its origin can be traced historically all the way back to the 1960’s..???
:) Viva la Nixon!

He’s dead, Jim. Burn in hell Mike for what you did to our soldiers.

I doubt he’s splaining’ to God when he got detoured to the downtown area of the afterlife.

So? Big deal. Everyone dies. Some people contribute more to the world than others while here.
Until someone shows me evidence otherwise, Mike Wallace didn’t do much of the stuff for which I believe people should be remembered fondly.
My mother in law died Friday at 90. The list of people whose lives she touched in a genuinely positive way is almost endless. And she didn’t have to lie and destroy the lives of innocent people to do it.
Nuff said.

"In 1995, Mike Wallace on CBS 60 Minutes interviewed then-President Radovan Karadzic. When President Karadzic brought up the atrocities committed by Croatians, Hitler's ally during World War II, Mike Wallace reared back in his chair and incredulously said, "But SIR! That was over 50 years ago!"
How ironic that a man of Jewish descent would make such a statement, as though "NEVER AGAIN," did not apply to the extermination of Serbs during World War II and therefore, their genocide was of no real significance. "
