At the risk of name dropping, I knew Buckley reasonably well. More of a “friendly acquaintance” than a friend. What a wonderful individual. I got to see him debate Ramsey Clark back in the day. What a GREAT experience.

Actually, that wasn’t gonna happen anyway. I sent them a writing sample on a lark (wasn’t really expecting much) and they called me a hack in a rejecto-gram email. I guess they don’t like investigative reporting or hard-hitting editorials that make libs look bad.

Lowry was on McLauclan a week or so ago going on about what an injustice Trayvon had suffered. Even IF Zimmerman is guilty, it just showed an incredible lack of judgement on Lowry’s part before any facts were in.
