“While off-duty”, EXCUSE ME? I believe he was on ACTIVE DUTY in the Marine Corps. Active duty is 24/7, 365. There is no such thing as “off duty”.
I can't stand that POS Obama, but he is the commander in chief, legitimate or not. This Marine knew better, he will have to accept the consequences.

The FReepers making the moronic claim that he had a duty to "uphold the constitution" are advocating chaos.
What they're saying is that any-ol' enlisted guy can simply throw discipline and the UCMJ to the wind if he decides that someone or something in their chain of command is unconstitutional.
