George Zimmerman's defense team is growing, suggesting that he's planning for a grand jury indictment and a subsequent criminal trial. Interestingly, his new attorney has begun releasing some previously unknown facts.
Did you know that, on the night of Trayvon Martin's death, Sanford police gave George Zimmerman a voice stress test?
They did, and the results probably contributed to his release.
A voice stress test is like a polygraph, but instead of measuring heart rate and blood pressure, it looks for changes in an individual's voice patterns that are thought to suggest psychological stress. With the help of software, investigators record a suspect answering baseline questions and then compare them to answers about the case.
This technology is not unique to Sanford. The National Institute for Truth Verification, a manufacturer of the technology, claims that over 1,800 local, state and federal law enforcement agencies use their product. They also claim to have trained U.S. Military personnel....

In many areas the Grand Jury is only in session quarterly...or less.
That could have something to do with it.
IMO there will be “total surprise” evidence released. We have no idea about powder residue, bullet and what ever that evidence is between when George hung up and was hit.
I’ve speculated that it could be a witness, or did he call his wife to tell her he’d be delayed. (We’ve heard nothing from her....maybe she’s the AA that he is related to)
Now that would be a surprise.....I suspect she’s the person who wrote the letter to the NAALCP.
Zimmerman probably had no idea what was going to happen after being forced to defend himself.
He probably had no idea the black racist lynch mobs and corrupt state run leftist media would attempt to discredit and smear him at every turn.
He wasn't arrested in the first place, because the police were unable to articulate a reason, based on evidence, to doubt Zimmerman's account.
If he had been arrested, "speedy trial" provisions of law kick in, and charges have to be brought in days.
I don't know the statute of limitations on manslaughter, but a suspect can be free for at least a year (indefinitely for murder and tax offenses) without being charged.
The delay in this case isn't really a delay yet. The case was scheduled to be put to a grand jury on April 10, by the original state (prosecuting) attorney, Wolfinger. The governor replaced Wolfinger on March 23, naming a special investigator to get the case completely outside of the normal routine. One would assume that "the clock starts over" with a brand new investigator.
-- he should be publicly released for lack of evidence and the states attorney stating they're dropping all investigations. --
The decision will most certainly be very public. Meanwhile, the state has treated him fairly while the media has crucified an innocent man.
This is sounding more and more like the Duke LAX case. In the beginning it sounds one way, but after the actual facts come out it turns out completely different.
It’s all about making Martin a martyr and Zimmerman a racist pig.
I’ve never see anything like it.
It's taking so long because there's a huge new problem. Even if the authorities are convinced no prosecution is possible, based on the evidence, they can't protect him so they can't "release" him.
Where the New Black Panthers are in the picture, the need for a totally new concept is unavoidable : create a new Victim Protection Program. The rational alternative, arrest and prosecute the strutting thugs, is politically unfeasible, and still assure the physical safety of both the police and the Zimmerman family.
Right, agreed. But you were wondering what evidence was somehow related to the location of the fight. I mentioned eyewitness other than John, because my recollection tells me either Robert, his dad, or Robert his brother mentioned that.
"Yep, VSA is complete rubbish."
As popular as all of the crime series on tv are, I think they have caused a serious misconception about how investigations and the justice system works. These tv shows make it look like everything is wrapped up, nice and neat, in an hour.
Forensic evidence is not analyzed on the spot and trials can take a very long time to come to fruition.
Makes things hard in “real life” situations.
It is amazing. A young thug is committing aggravated assault, and is converted into a martyr via the victim using self defense.
And a non-racist victim of aggravated assault is converted into a racist, because he was attacked by a thug.
An example of "no justice in this world."
He probably had no idea the black racist lynch mobs and corrupt state run leftist media would attempt to discredit and smear him at every turn."
Sorry, felt compelled to tweek your comment slightly.
This kind of thing has been going on for about 50 years. They've just become more emboldened, much like the millions of illegals.
No problem, you’re probably correct.

When you always tell the truth you don’t have a history of lying to snag you in the future.
Nobody cares about silly facts. It's the "sensationalism" that matters. Get with the program!
No, he couldn’t have foreseen what was about to climb on his back.
I read and see tears for Trayvon EVERYWHERE but I see nothing like that for Zimmerman.
I think the tide is turning but what has been done can’t be undone.
black avengers need their rest same as others
Once again...
Please provide a link, any link to any official statement by any eye-witness to the start of the fight.
You won't because, as we all know, you can't.
You have become our MSNBC...throwing out un-knowables as fact because they meet your desire about what happened...only you are worse because we expect such dishonesty from them...not here.
