Tyler Perry's April 1 Facebook post about police pulling him over was no April Fool's joke: The highest-paid man in entertainment is accusing a pair of white Atlanta police officers of racial profiling. Four days later, Perry's post boasts more than 117,000 "likes," 21,000 comments, and 12,000 shares. Atlanta police have launched an internal investigation, E! News reports. Perry's predicament began when he admittedly made a left turn from a far-right lane -- a trick his security detail taught him, to make sure he wasn't being followed, Perry explained on Facebook. Two white Atlanta police officers pulled him over, but apparently did not realize they'd just stopped Tyler Perry.

Yes, no black person has ever been guilty of anything.
They’ve just been set up by evil, racist whites.
Go to Hell Tyler Perry.....
Was he wearing a hoodie?
What an arrogant, self-important, POS.
My regard for Perry and his rags to riches story just took another tumble.
Tyler who....??
A biography, apparently.
Who?
Yeah, that ticks me off too. We are all equal, but some of us are more equal.
The arrogance and then the bowing to that arrogance is abhorring.
Or Katie Perry?
You answered your own question.......Dark tinted windows.
He knew did a documentary on Michelle Obama before she became famous?
Yeah... but I don't think THE MAN is a white guy anymore.
(altered for your viewing pleasure)
I doubt this change of attitude by the police had a thing to do with race.
And Tyler Perry's massive ego simply would not be able to handle that type of effrontery.
Not that “profiling” was deployed in this case, but why is everyone running away from it.
In that young black males commit a hideously disproportionate percentage of crimes, particularly violent crimes, racial profiling targeting that demographic is the most sane and efficient law enforcement measure imaginable.
Idoit? Idoit?
Then too, who or what is Journey?
The only way this story could have gone differently is if:
INTERIOR, POLICE CRUISER
White Officer 1 — “That Mercedes with the heavily tinted windows and 21” rims that just turned across two lanes of traffic ... probably a rich, black celebrity executing a security maneuver to avoid being tailed ... we should just let that slide ... “
White Officer 2 — “Good thinking, Bob.”
FADE
Although I might suggest you quit the heavy drinking this early in the day, I understood your question. : )
I meant that Tyler made a movie about himself.
However, I like your idea. Better yet, we combine Michelle Obama and Tyler Perry, for the role of the MAD WOMAN.
Look, the Atlanta cops response to “I’m Tyler Perry” SHOULD have been, “I don’t give a FLYING F*** who you are to America, right now you are just another Perp to me.”
Aww Tyler... thought you were better than to whine about racism after violating traffic laws.
He violated the rules of the road.
He got caught.
Rich, gay and black, and all he could come up with was some LAME A** EXCUSE about learning it from 'security guards'.
The cops come back and tell him, "YOU CAN JUST GO".
So, the (term of endearment in the gay community) gets on TWITTER, hours later, and raises a fuss because he was 'dissed'?
Maybe he was having a hard time controlling his emotions.
