A long, long time ago, I was the only white guy in a black band. I went with the bandleader to talk to the owner of a black nightclub hoping to get a gig. The owner looked at me and asked the bandleader, “Is this a mixed band?” The bandleader answered, “Yes.” Then the owner asked, “How mixed?”
We did that one gig, but some of the customers complained that there were white folks in the band. I remember some of them glowering at me. It was the last time we were allowed to play there.
You know, I respected their right of free association. They only wanted “bruthahs” to be paid with “black money” to perform there. Tha’s ok, tha’s ok.
No, that's just an open invitation for the MSM/Dems to start a fight with Romney over race.
Let's not interrupt Obama when he's having a terrible couple of weeks. Let's keep the headlines on his gaffes and not get the guns trained on Romney.
