The MacBook Pro is probably the most perfect laptop computer ever manufactured. Absolute perfection in every way with a stunning display screen. If I ever had a virus, I never knew about it.
Now I still use the Microsoft Windows on other computers but I do have some issues with those - even though in general, they tend to get the job done. Computers work a lot better these days.
I use Linux on my desktop, but have a MacBook Air for taking with me places. It’s not perfect, but it’s pretty well thought-out, and I’m pretty happy with it. The case/keyboard/trackpad/etc., is unquestionably superior.
I have been checking the forums and if there are 600,000 infected Macs out there, they certainly aren't admitting it. I am not seeing it. Nor are the other security companies finding them. Only Doctor Web is claiming it. . . And that company is suspect. We've seen this kind of hype before. They have an anti-virus product to sell. . . One that is specifically designed to scan a website from Safari for malicious content BEFORE you actually navigate to it!
