Shorter CNN to George Zimmernan:
Gee, George, sorry we pretty much declared you a racist in front of all of America before having all the facts, but Obama's all-in on this one and we're all-in for Obama and since you're a registered Democrat, we think you'll understand.

The temperature reached 60 by 9am and remained in the 60’s throughout the rest of the day and night.
I just looked it up, the low temp in Sanford Fla on Feb 27 2012....52 deg. And it was raining.
Not to mention NBC, ABC, CBS, PMSNBC!
The sentence fragment in question was, "F#cking co_ _."
Actually, 50’s or 60’s in Florida is cold...to a Floridian, like me. And, the rain made it colder. Just making that point only...
Didn't he also say the word could have been "goon" . . . that, according to his daughter, that is a word of endearment.
BTW, 'tho it's not related to this case, my two Florida born and raised granddaughters, ages 6 and 8, have heard the word "coon" being used on the school bus.
Good point! Quite some time ago my two kids and I had an old movie on where someone used a word like coon or spade and people in the movie laughed. They didn't get the joke and I had to tell them what it was.
I was afraid they might totally innocently use one of those words and get nailed for it sometime so I went through all the ones I could remember hearing from my youth.
I was shocked and pleased by two things: 1)that I hadn't heard those in decades and my kids had never heard them and 2) that I could remember so many of them.
So much progress had been made and now this race baiter in the white house has set us back a couple generations... or more.
Breitbart.com is too FRIGHTENED to spell the word “coon”?
Shame! Censorship = fear.
Nah, he uttered under his breath when he was out of his vehicle, going after the teen.
Maybe they spotted a racoon.
I haven’t heard the word “spade” in years. That was used in the NYC of my youth. “Coon” was unheard of. Well, maybe Archie Bunker used it.
The key, it seems to me, is the vowel sound. The “o” in “coon” is pronounced “ooooh”; the “o” in “cold” is pronounced “oh”. It’s the same difference between “Anderson Cooper” and “Anderson Coper”.
But, then, everything is yellow to the jaundiced eye.
Rush talking about this now. CNN has apologized for suggesting Zimmerman used the word “coon.”
Well, there goes the federal hate crimes case against Zimmerman. I wonder if they’ll take the eye/ear witness statements, and see if Trayvon was using any racially-tinged words. I know he can’t be charged, being dead, but there is a possibility that Trayvon was committing a hate crime. What did the witnesses hear?
Unfamiliar with the Broadway musical, "Hair."
My goodness, Hair is as old as the hills, lol! (Never liked that musical). It doesn’t get revived that often.
Today, The Today Show was harping on the fact that there were no eye witnesses to the event. I thought there was a man named “John” who supplied tons of info on the altercation. The lies surrounding this case are astounding!
This call for proof by eyewitnesses is infantile. Many many crimes happen without any witness, and yet there can be a prosecution. In this case, ask if Trayvon was committing an assault. Take the evidence you have, knowing that Martin's family is going to sow doubt with speculation, and figure out if you believe Zimmerman.
The burden is on the state to prove otherwise - that's a bit beside the point because, as far as I know, the state has zero evidence that Zimmerman threw the first punch, acted belligerently toward Trayvon, or otherwise endeavored to start or escalate physical violence. It's not that what they have to work with is weak, it's that they have nothing to work with, against Zimmerman. And there is PLENTY to work with, against Martin.
Right!
