They consider this, an article that says Obama shouldn't add liberal seats to the Supreme Court, an example of "balance."

It would be a total waste of time, although dumbo seems to be quite good at that. The justices are appointed for life and POTUS might just as well declare war on the sun.
The "fun" would start, however, if one of the conservative justices kicked off. Then, we would see some fireworks when dumbo tried to appoint a lib in their place.
I read a fiction book several years ago by the Christian author Larry Burkett. In it, the President of the United States had several US Supreme Court Justices assassinated in order to gain control of the court. It gave his appointees the majority and they rubber stamped his actions in order to take over the country.
The author clearly stated in the forward that he had no gift of prophesy. Maybe he did and just didn’t realize it! Hope they all stay safe.

Why did Chief Justice John Roberts swear him in a second time - without audio? Obama is arrogant enough to think that he can threaten and belittle SCOTUS without any repercussions...and I hope he keeps on thinking it! His slap at the justices in the State of the Union address a few years back has set Anthony Kennedy against him totally.
The book was the Illuminati and would be an excellent read right now. In it the US currency collapses and the crap hits the fan overnight.

That’s right and the military will very well back them as I bet most of them hate him and now believe him to be a fraud. It has happened to many a tin-plated fool in history.
Granted, all crimes against humanity do not involve death camps, mass starvation and jungle wholesale massacres, so that hyperbole is understandable but a bit extreme.
But lacking that option, I could be persuaded to support the original suggestion.

SCOTUS suddenly got religion and started deciding the New Deal was A-OK after FDR took the shot at their head.

Most of the justices were real lawyers and politicians, and he tweaked their noses.
That was about as smart as trying to pet a badger. Or maybe better: he tried to pour warm butter in five wildcats’ ears. In a phone booth.
This was the only jewel in his “crown.” Now, after four years all he’s going to have to show from getting up at the crack of noon and laboring 3 1/2 hours a day are t-shirts from his many vacations. Maybe some (stolen) turkish bathhouse towels. And his golf score cards.
