In a campaign speech on Friday in Vermont, as reported by CNSNews.com, President Obama ripped into “you’re-on-your-own-economics” and actually suggested that hard work and personal responsibility were not supreme Biblical values. Instead, he suggested, “Hard work, personal responsibility – those are values. But looking out for one another. That’s a value. The idea that we’re all in this together. I am my brother’s keeper. I am my sister’s keeper. That’s a value.”
Apparently, being his brother’s keeper does not actually mean his brother’s keeper – President Obama’s half-brother lives on less than a dollar per month. “I have seen two of my friends killed,” says George Obama. “I have scars from defending myself with my fists. I am good with my fists.”
Beyond the obvious, Obama’s interpretation of Biblical stories leaves something to be desired. In the story of Cain and Abel, Abel offers a sacrifice and so does Cain; God is pleased with Abel’s and not with Cain’s. In a fit of jealousy, Cain kills Abel. When God asks Cain about it, Cain replies, “Am I my brother’s keeper?”

It would be nice if this charlatan ever actually read the Bible, much less than trying to understand it...
That’s one of the key differences between a Conservative and a Democrat.
A Conservative would look with compassion upon his family, and would share some amount. Obama could write a check for $50,000 and never notice it; and that same $50,000 would make his brother a very rich man, and set for life in his village.
But, a Democrat clings to their money like a miser - for charity is believed to be the sole domain of Gov’t.
Thus, Obama is fine with hearing about how his brother is sleeping on the ground, fighting for his very life - while he lives a life of luxury and ease. His brother’s poor fortunes are not his responsibility at all; but rather an indicator of a failed Gov’t.
Pathetic excuse for a brother, a human being and an even more pathetic excuse for a leader.

The closest I can come up with is the dishonest but shrewd steward who makes friends with the Mammon of Inequity.

I wouldn't want to be responsible for the actions of all of my relatives. However, I've occasionally wondered if any modern-day president had a brother (or other close relative) living in a stick hut in a 3rd world country.
Especially a prez as well-to-do as BO.

Cain had just murdered Abel.
