It is not judicial activism to make laws conform to the Constitution.

Comparing him to Napoleon gives him way too much credit.

This is what you get when you elect a president who didn’t set foot on the American mainland till he was 18 years old.

Actually he needs to remain vocal regarding his complete contempt for the Supreme Court. Every speech should have him with megaphone in hand threatening and scolding SCOTUS for usurping his authority.

This simply could not be working out better. The Thug in Chief is forced to double down on a policy that easily could cost his party for years and years to come. The best thing and smartest thinkg for him to do right now is to shut up and let the Court kill this. If it did, then it woudl remove an issue from the Republican quiver. Instead, even if it is ruled unconstitutional, he looks like the egotistical, moron he is. Perfect!!! Keep talking you beautiful, magnificent, affirmative action gift!!

No no, he should just keep piling it on. That’s the way you get a completely independent branch of government to do exactly what you want, by calling them out as incompetent during the State of the Union address, then by browbeating them as an obvious and desperate campaign ploy.

... Obama on Monday issued stern language to the Supreme Court of the United States regarding his health care law, expressing confidence "Obamacare" will not be overturned by the nation's highest court. "I'm confident this will be upheld because it should be upheld," the president said ... .

Didn't the vote by the Supreme Court already take place? Wasn't there multiple stories last week about the necessity to maintain secrecy until the end of June?

The president stressed that the judges are "unelected" and noted that the law was passed by a democratically elected Congress.

*******

Did President Obama just insult the Supreme Court Justices with his "unelected" comment above?

The president said overturning the law would be "an unprecedented and extraordinary step" and compared the court's rejection of the law to "judicial activism."

Wow.
Just Wow.

Dear Barry-Barrack-Obama-Soetoro : Some third grade civic facts.

In the United States, the three branches of government are co-equal, and none is superior to any other.

It would be unseemly for one branch to criticise the other. And only ONE branch is Constitutionally empowered to decide if a law is Constitutional or not. Of course, that won't prevent the ambitious or the insane from attempting to change that relationship and render one branch useless. But that's the way it is.

By the way, even mostly ignorant citizens are aware that many "democratically" adopted laws have been found "unconstitutional," without being "judicial activism."

The most abused branch is the Executive, with the Legislative" a close second.

I hope he keeps running that corrupt mouth! Maybe he’ll piss them off enough to make them do what he’s threatening them not to.
