When George Zimmerman’s lawyer, Orlando-based criminal defense attorney Craig Sonner, defended his client to TIME on Sunday night, he would not say whether he is gathering evidence for a trial. But he hints he is thinking ahead to a criminal case. “I err on the side of preparedness,” he says. “Every time I take a case I prepare as though I am going to trial.”
Sonner continues to remain mum on the specifics of the incident, like why police surveillance cameras showed Zimmerman with no apparent blood and grass stains soon after the shooting, or whether or not he has run tests to confirm that Zimmerman’s voice is calling for help on a neighbor’s recorded 911 call. “That will be litigated,” he responds to each question. Then, the refrain: “George Zimmerman was acting in self-defense on the night in question, and when all the information is released, it will show that.”

Zimmerman's lawyer is very shrewd. Right now the ball is in the FL independent investigator's office. If she pushes ahead, he's ready. And, if she presses charges, SHE is going to be his adversary #1.
Not so. The local media reported it right after it came out.
I heard some lady on Rush just now say the kid lay in the morgue for 3 days before his parents were notified. If it is true it is inexcusable. I don't think it is true. I never heard it before. I did hear that the person watching the game with him didn't know until the next day he was dead.
It is true. The family filed a missing persons request. One would think that the cell phone would have given the police a clue as to who he was.
Zimmerman’s not going to be arrested - he didn’t do anything wrong.
Aw, we can always pray he'll have a conversion. That saying that a conservative is a liberal who has been mugged couldn't be more true in this hellish scene right out of Bonfire of the Vanities by Tom Wolfe. But it's not unique - it's been played out over and over and over. Lives are ruined, people die horrific violent deaths, and the usual suspects begin to wave the bloody shirt.
Exactly, that's the whole idea, that's why people need to pay attention, but, unfortunately, they are too busy watching american idol, dancing with the idiots, etc etc etc
Call for them to be fired.
I'm starting to think the problem is the editors. Journalists might be trying to keep their jobs - maybe the uber liberal ones are more pleasing...
