grey_whiskers, you are someone who gets it.

All software does NOT necessarily have bugs. Software coded by people who hate us, and which is inadequately tested, i.e software that is programmed fast, and on the cheap will have bugs and likely 'back doors' built in.

The source code has always been the sticking point with this plane. The source code is basically the brain of the airplane.The US have consistently refused to provide access to the source codes.However, the F-35I acquisition agreement is opening opportunities for the installation of Israeli systems in future production batches
