That isn’t what I do, nor what the vast majority of my congregation does either.
I agree that there is apathy in the Body, but it doesn’t extend to ALL Christians and certainly not me.
Well as a believer and doer of the Word via Jesus’ spirit, I too get depresses when evil seems to be winning. There are still ways to fight evil but it must be one on one sometimes and then it must be communal. Money still counts in this society so supporting Christian, real Christian causes helps. Marches do not nor does violence though for once I would like Fire from heaven consuming, say the Iranian nuke plants. But, supporting missions, food-clothing kitchens, home schooling, things like Precious Lamb which as in many areas, helps kids who have rotten parents. Even petitions help if if one can use political pressure to push a theme. Of course, parents, schools, and churches all have failed in the last 7 decades as secular-liberal-humanism has gained much ground. But, much can be still fought if one has the will. God told Joshua, Be strong, be courageous. Two traits that both Christians and frankly conservs, Pubs need today to face political evil.
Neither do I, nor Jensen I’m sure. But we are all responsible for accepting various sins in others — take the case of living before marriage or sleeping together outside marriage —> it’s difficult to tell your friends that it is wrong, but we must do that.
