"Although the ad was non-partisan and non-religious ESPN denied it a spot because it linked back to Koch’s website, where he promotes ministry and his Christian faith."

This type of religious persecution is getting ridiculous!

Espn has always been obnoxious. Too bad advertising makes $ and $ drives sports, cuz “$ changes everything”

If he’s any good at racing, and he has the persona to represent a brand, he’ll be sponsored, again.

IT’s a business, and if you as a driver HELP the brand, you’ll get sponsors.

This is just stupid on ESPN’s part. How does the fact the driver is a believer damage them? Are they afraid they will lose the Atheist audience? I'm an Atheist and don't watch them to begin with.

When company's do things against people of faith, it just makes them seem small stupid and petty.

Only dopers, lefties and types that throw bags of dog s*** on cops are allowed to "Rock the Vote."

Others need not apply.

Do they have any announcers who have changed their names to Muslim?

We all know what this is - and it is ugly.

Interesting, as “Rise up and Register” is still using Koch as part of its promotions on its own website. If they have dropped their sponsership, wouldn’t they be required to pretty much immediately remove anything from their website regarding Koch’s promotion of their issues?

Been noticing a lot of empty seats at NASCAR lately. I’m sure part of it is the economy—but sometimes I wonder if some of it is because folks over there are forgetting their base. There’s more to it of course, but insulting Christians is NOT going to help.

I stopped caring about Nascar 20 years ago (along with all sports). Used to watch every race - just got tired of the direction they were going and stopped cold. Haven’t seen a race (or any other sporting event) since.
